my ride already clock 1500 km . First at all, I should bring my car to service center for 1000km interval service . 1000km interval service only for checking/inspection right? nothing gonna be change

My life a bit busy this fasting month even on saturday I work until noon.

If I bring my car on 1800-2000 km , does SC still accept it? I just worried if gonna affect my warranty?

Did call customer service and they ask me to bring my car on Monday .

Anyone can share how long it take for 1k service ? any SC that got less customer?

Are the European and US countries' Fiesta using the Duratec Ti-VCT engine as well? Or are they still on Zetec-S?

Different review sites reviewed different Fiesta (reviews are all made 2008 and above). Some reviewed the TDCi version and another uses the Zetec-S version.

Just in case anyone's curious...

QUOTE
Q. What other advantages does PowerShift offer compared to conventional transmissions?

A. The Fiesta PowerShift transmission has a feature that we call ‘neutral idle’. When you are stopped at a traffic light with your foot on the brake, in the ‘Drive’, or ‘D’ gear mode, the clutches fully disengage. In a conventional automatic there’s always some torque on the driveline when you are in ‘D’ mode. With this technology, however, the clutches fully disengage when you come to a stop, and this helps to save fuel.

At night have to think about the driver behind you who have to stare at your third brake light though. Road courtesy.

well..grm my observation, most malaysian drivers always step on the brake pedals when staionary, but step on their accelerator pedal when approaching traffic lights frm yellow turning red doh.gif

Why is it wrong? Lol... It doesn't bother me (not that I do it, I always pull handbrake when stationary unless I know the light is going to be green soon.)

Well doesn't yellow mean to go faster? tongue.gif

ha ha..problem is malaysian driver approaching traffic light turned yellow wanna go faster...on a serious note better ditch that bad 'yellow mean to go faster' habit before innocent people or even yourself got killed

I actually prefer to go into N as I like to place my feet in a relaxed position instead of actively pressing the brake pedal. Only exception at traffic light is when I know the lights is going to go on green soon.

And accelerating on yellow is one way to kill FC. I prefer to just coast to a stop.
