Focus 2012 due to arrive in March 2012. Fastest to get it will be by August 2012.

The Focus Titanium teaser at SDPJ was the 1.6 EcoBoost. Specs wise should be the same as international Focus'. Still unsure if it will come with GPS. Price remain to be the same attentively. Sedan looks to be left out.

1.6 ecoboost with 182bhp? wow, 0-100 in 7.9s? if they keep the price around 120k-ish, that'll be niceeeeeeee.

Yup, so far thats what Im hearing from AutoConnexion (PJ & KL). And there seems to be no stock left for the 2011 Focus TDCi sedan.

The 1.6 EcoBoost manual was just the teaser car. The supposedly Focus 2012 model (hopefully they are still not confused with registered in 2012 year) will be hatcback only. 2.0 TDCi will be here. Prices to maintain as current RM128k with little or no initial discount.

Humm..hatchback..that would definitely compromise the boot size..a big turnoff for family guy like me looking for family car..

actually, for a hatchback FF. the space is quite big compared to other hatchback in the market.

i was also told by the sdac pj, new batch of FF will be coming in march

Met Ford Head of Sales today, apparently Focus Ecoboost will not be here.
Only the normal petrol and diesel models. From what he said, whatever Thailand assembles, they will sell it here.

Not the Focus ecoboost assemble in Belgium, somehow I hope he is wrong about it though......

There will be regional meeting of Ford in Bangkok next week, the pricing of new Ford Ranger will be disclosed by then. Also the Ford next 5-years plan, expected to have 15 variants of cars coming in soon.

both good news and bad news i guess. no ecoboost - maybe they can't get the pricing right? because i'm sure the engine will work just fine here with our ron95. but seeing the "15 variants of cars coming in soon", i can only say wah...ford is kicking into high gear! good to see the blue oval reappear in the local market in full force.

overpromise from Ford PJ SA or is it really good news? book the 2012 Focus now and able to get the car by mid March 2012. still getting same price of 128k. plus if there's discount then will contra off later.

which spec and which 'body' is this? titanium with tdci? or titanium with the current 2.0 engine?
