Anyone knows the name of this part circled in red? Stupid wooden stick fell off a speeding lorry, bounced off the road surface, ricochet against the guardrail in the middle of the road and whacked into that part (plus engine bonnet), leaving a deep dent on the circled part and a gash on the bonnet. From the sound of the thud, seems that the stick is of considerable weight.



I guess I can be considered lucky as the stick could have gone through the windscreen. Few things that were to my favor.
01. Managed to brake hard and swerved to the side so that the stick ended up bouncing to the side after impacting the car's bonnet.
02. Lorry was on the heavy vehicle lane while I was on the overtaking lane (saw that the wood stacked on it was kind of wobbly, hence I moved to the lane as far from the lorry's as possible to overtake). Was unfortunate that the wood fell off and bounced off in that manner. By that time, there was no way to avoid its trajectory

Bonnet based on the price list (don't know how updated is it) is RM445. And I'm guessing the circled area should not be more than RM200.

Anyone know if the parts are covered under warranty?

I'm looking into getting a Ford Fiesta early next year... the blue hatchback fiesta S (so gorgeous  )

Got a few questions maybe the sifus here can answer.

1) I hear there's a new model coming soon? Next year? Should I wait for the new model?
2) There's a 2k price increase on the new model? Read that somewhere in this thread. Is it immediately going to effect Jan 1st?
3) Any news of new colors? Saw some of the new colors on the US Fiesta 2012, the lime green is also really nice 
4) How's the fuel consumption like on the car? My current car, a Satria Neo, is really hopeless in this regard...RM60 full tank can only go less than 300km  How many km are you guys averaging per full tank?
5) Not a big deal, but are there ipod controls on the car? Meaning you can control an ipod with the buttons on the steering.

Looking to book the car end of the year or early Jan, depending on the whole price increase thingy. Sales offers welcome 

Oh yeah, saw it now... didn't notice that you can create fuel consumption banners these days. Pretty impressive, much better than my Satria. Hah, saw your fuel consumption too... mine's something like 11-12 l/100km, horrible. But I'm sorta stuck in a jam most of the time, KL driver and all.

I was last offered something like 28k for my satria neo. It's a 2006 highline model.

overpromise from Ford PJ SA or is it really good news? book the 2012 Focus now and able to get the car by mid March 2012. still getting same price of 128k. plus if there's discount then will contra off later.
