Good luck for those starting their new life in UTP.
Food: RM 10 per day is enough. Hence, that could translate to about RM300 per month, addition of phone bill maybe just RM30, skip all the entertainment to ipoh (or kept to minimum) your expenses won't be more than RM400. Life in Uni means you'll need to be smart of your expenses Dress code: You may find that in the Uni Rule Book, I think they still distribute it to all new joiners. Otherwise what crazeed mention is correct. No shorts, no round neck (only collar T). Matric card to be worn at all times. Summon is RM 30. Coverage: Maxis is ok too, but as you move from places to places, there might be certain place in the uni where some telco coverage is slightly bad. Example in room my bed has bad Maxis line, but if I walked over to my room mate's side the line is ok... (strange but true) Timetable planning: What kind of guide you need in timetable planning? Normally you don't ask for senior's help, but you work it out with your coursemate or friends, so that you all ended up in the same class together But if you have general questions regarding timetable planning, why not try to post here and see if someone able to help you with it or not. Cheers |

Yeap, ejatidiaz is correct. No DC++ for V6 since it is on Wifi.
On the bright side, it means more time for studying |

oh okay thanks bros..
Btw I really cannot tahan all the walking i have to do in the scorching heat just to get to class from V6...not to mention the extremely unreliable wifi. download lecture notes aso so hard. was thinking of getting a mobile broadband plan. celcom or maxis would be better here?
