Bah! you won't lose much. Just give you full name and matrix card ID to your course mate so that he/she will help you to register for tutorials and labs. Cheers.

may I know, do I have to apply for anything to stay in the hostel? and where to apply?  smile.gif
*
All done by them, since your a freshman and a girl, probably V2 or V3. My bet is on V2.

Just go with the flow. smile.gif

EDIT: Tip, hostel no WiFi. So bring LAN cable and multi-plug extension cords.

LOL== hostel has no wifi???? bring LAN cable to coonect to where?

what is V2? V3?....and one more...how much is the limit of CGPA to achieve the first class honour?
*
WiFi has been problematic (seriously, if you get V6, bring broadband).
Hostel from V1 to V have LAN ports in the room. 2 ports, one for each student living in the room.
The rest of the Campus has WiFi, so don't worry.

V1, V2, V3, V4, V5, V6 <- Hostels

V6 - Male only Hostel (freshman)
V2C - Start of the Female only Hostel Blocks.
V1 & V2 - normally for freshman
V3, V4 & V5 - normally for seniors

3.75 for First Class Honours. (It fluctuates at times)

oh, means on registration day, I'll only move in?
*
Yes. I think they gave you a shortlist of things to bring right? Make sure you bring those.

Tip, bring coins (old coins) and big water containers cause you can fill-up water by using the available water dispensers in each hostel. 10 cents per liter.

Yea, but Yayasan UTP only pays for 1 semester only. And it is hard to get cause only really needy people get those.

need to pay for water ah?? i drink lots of water leh! are there single rooms?
*
Yea, 10 cents per liter gua. Not that much also. Cactus 1.5 liter is 1 buck. Yes there is, but not for females I think. I don't think you want to be in a single room, higher price that shared rooms.

If you were to take a quick look at Prey, you wouldn't think it was a free tool at all. It just looks so professional. It boasts loads of feature, looks great and works extremely well. Once again the open source community has sown that talent and passion can turn an altruistic project into something truly special. With so many features, Prey is the best value laptop security package around. Get it and use it.

Electrical & Electronic Engineering is one of the hardest part of engineering ever. Tough as hell.
Those who could cope with it have my salute.

Sorry, it was closed in Mac actually. You just have to hope that there is a Sept semester, which I doubt there will be one.

There are many relevant similarities between Automotive Engineering and Aerospace Engineering. As a branch of vehicle engineering, it incorporates Mechanical system, Electrical system, Electronic system, Safety system, Corrosion prevention, Aerodynamic design, automotive Ergonomics, and Advanced Driver Assistance systems.

Although you are in 2nd year Mechanical Engineering, it’s still a good idea to map out a 2- or 3-year plan for your intended major (Automotive) that lists each of your courses every term until graduation. In this way, you can take control of your academic planning and give yourself the most flexibility toward your Final Year Project (FYP).

There is one area might deserve your attention. Do you know that every year, automobile manufactures spend millions in funding development of cutting edge technologies to keep drivers safe and accident free while operating their vehicles? These technologies are known in the industry as Advanced Driver Assistance Systems and each one is controlled by complex real-time embedded systems.

I wonder if you’ll be inspired, as you watch “Audi Piloted Driving at CES 2013.”

You just gave me a new field to venture in. Thanks. I have an idea now. I sketch it up so that I'll remember it.
YOU ROCK!

It should be 15th May, I wonder why yours is on 16th. Were you in the reserve list?
This is from the email UTP sent me.

this is what i got from my offer letter :
Butir-butir kursus adalah seperti berikut :
i. Program Sarjana Muda Kejuruteraan (Kepujian) Kejuruteraan Kimia - 4 Tahun
ii. Maklumat Pendaftaran : 8.00 pagi, 16 Mei 2013, Dewan Canselor, Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS

maybe i am a undergraduate applicant???
*
Nah, I don't think it is because of you being an undergrad applicant. Maybe, too many people on the same day. Possible that they split the registration days.
