Yup. I only use BeatsAudio + Foobar, no DFX or any other software.
Already use that crossfeed but didn't notice much different.

My current active DSPs.

The FreeSurround download consists of two files: the decoder, which must be placed in the components subdirectory of your foobar2000 path, and the FFTW library, which must be placed directly in your foobar2000 path. FS is open source, and its code can be downloaded from here.
where shud i put the fs??

Beta version
As of Dec. 2010 (2010-12-04), there is a new beta version (currently 0.8.1) with many improvements - it is attached below (it does not require the FFTW library any more)

I'm using this beta version. Just foo_dsp_fsurround_beta extract into components folder.

From this post -->5.1 Headphone experience *Foobar configuration for all stereo music files*

If u're using FreeSurround, u don't need to install Channel Mixer. Both AC3 and DTS decoder come preinstalled with the Foobar2K nowadays... so you only need to download Dolby Headphone Wrapper & DOLBYHPH.DLL.

Hey guys, how big is the difference between 1600x900 and 1366x768 pixels?

Been lurking around in this thread since v1, and finally going to purchase a new laptop.

But there's the N55SF(i5) to consider now, which has a weaker processor and a slightly slower graphics card. But has a better screen resolution.

Seems like there's not many hardware problems with this laptop right?

Argh still confused about which to get doh.gif

switching on auto is seamless.. u won't notice it, whilst with manual the screen will go black for 1 sec when u switch it. that's it. hmm.gif

Sure, BeatsAudio is system-wide audio enhancer. hmm.gif

By can't enable u mean the Beats option is greyed out?
