Seriously, I would never use a BB cream anymore.
It has worsen my skin condition, pimples popping out non stop, and now what I left is acne scars.
Is there anyone who faced this problem before?

I use Skin79 Hot Pink.
I don't think it's suitable for many la, the undertone is too pink.
And have you girls ever used a bb cream as foundation, then take flash picture? The white cast from the spf is terrible, Looks like a ghost with white face and neck.
So BB cream is out of my life.

Hmm, I think that has to be your cleasing procedure problems my dear. What kinda cleansing oil or cream are u using to remove your makeup? Maybe that product doesn't suit your skintype? Just my 2 cents smile.gif

And I'm using both Skin79 hot pink and Missha perfect cover, the same as the one TS is using. My skin79 is more oily that my missha bb cream and I personally like missha one better. I usually dap a few dots of bb cream on my face and wipe it evenly with my fingers then dap powder to reduce the brightness that my face will usually have after applying creamy foundation. I also dap another layer of 'no sebum powder' that I bought from Korea and voila, my face will not look oily for almost 12 hours at max biggrin.gif

Well you should have stopped when you see something is not right. Maybe that particular series or brand does not suit your skin or your skin might be allergic to some contents inside. Mind to share which brand was it? It'll be great if you could provide pictures. Just for sharing. Thanks wink.gif

Hmm, I never have this problem with bb cream, only concealer.
I'm using bb cream as foundation too. Mind to share the pic? or maybe the tone is not right. As some bb cream they have a few shades for you to match with your skin tone.

I'm no longer using missha. Cuz I just finished my first tube. Seriously, one tube can be used for very long time. I've just bought a new bb cream from Dr. G. Texture is more watery than the Missha i used previously. I think this Dr. G one is better, maybe that's bcuz I have dry skin. smile.gif

The hot pink actually pulled a little darker on me, and the pink undertone is not really suitable, but I took care to only use a teeny amount and blend like crazy so that it looks natural, so it's nearly no coverage for me.
I'd love to share the pics but I'm a little shy. blush.gif
If you try taking your own picture with force flash with the bb cream on, you'll get what I mean.
I thought maybe I put too much bb cream that day, but I experimented using a camera and flash, no matter how little amount I use, with nearly no coverage, it still reflects that awful white cast. sad.gif
I saw the pic of a friend who uses hot pink to a dinner recently. Same thing, but her white cast was worse maybe because I use very little of the bb cream.
Blame the spf, but I don't know why liquid foundation with spf doesn't show up that obvious.

How does it compare to others? Colour, causes less breakouts?

So far, inexpensive Maybelline natural shade works best for me, and it's on offer at Watson's this weekend.

@xlizzy. That's quite a thought there. I loved the Etude House precious mineral BB as it gave me a dewy glowy look, so much i bought backup. But when i used it when in Uk, the cream won't settle and leave a whitish residue on my face. And come to think of it, i've been getting frequent kind of acne that's like bumps under my skin.

For now I've switched to Neutrogena BB, it's nice, lighter texture, kinda sheer, only that i can't stand the smell. it's not chemical smell, like oat porridge & wood? For overall glow, i used etude house precious mineral compact.
I'm lemming to try Garnier's BB, it's light, n better shade for those that are medium dark. think it cost just 19.90 ringgits. Has anyone tried BB from faceshop? especially the latest

I think not just focus face wash and moisture products, but I'm believe beauty start from within. Í'm drinking oral beauty drink. but focus on collagen.

just now i saw innershine ads in facebook, there is a new innershine product launch in malaysia. relate to OPC... if not mistaken, the brand ambassador in Taiwan for this product is Little S.. (*wa! i m quite like Little S actually ^^)

Share with you their facebook, https://www.facebook.com/#!/InnerShineOPC

i used skinfood bb cream. the green bottle one. its really good. one advice dont apply it with provided sponge. just use your hand it will blend better and your skin will look natural. and it doesn't make your skin got acne or anything like that. i know coz my skin prone to get acne for applying make up. but this one good. why? coz i sometimes dont even use cleanses to remove it. sometimes to tired. just sleep with it.

i still prefer foundations over bb cream
coz maybe bb cream is not suitable for my skin, i tried skin79 pink, and it's causing me pimples
and i find bb cream staying power is shorter than foundation

Yes but remember it is make-up like concealer stick, not treatment. It will cover, and so thus lighten the appearance but not remove the spot. Go to a pharmacy and tap-tap-tap a dab of Maybelline BB tester on your hand or wrist. Give it time to settle. Then you can decide if BB is right for you and look at other brands.

Well, I started off with foundation but once I found out about BB Cream. I am in love with it's light texture.

Brands I have used before & short reviews :

Maybelline -
Texture : Light in comparison to the other BB Creams in the market.
Smell : Quite alright. Somehow it smells of sawdust. Hmm.
Loved it at first but after using it, I realized that my skin condition worsen. Lots of white heads and black heads started forming sad.gif
So, I stopped using it now as its not suitable for my skin. I have a friend who is using it and has no problem withit. *JEALOUS*
Oh well, boo to my sensitive skin.

PSST! I have two bottles which I wanna sell off if you would like to give it a try wink.gif

Skin Food (Aloe BB Cream SPF20/PA+) -
Texture : Quite thick.
Smell : Don't quite like it. An acquired scent.
Found it slightly sticky and tad bit too white for me. I look like a ghost in pictures with flash 0__0

Silkygirl BB Cream -
Texture : Quite thick.
Smell : Can't recall. Used it only once.
The colour options are terrible. It's either TOO FAIR or TOO DARK. :/ Had to give it away to my cousin.

Etude House Precious Mineral BB Cream All Day Strong SPF30/PA++ in #3 Sheer Flawless Skin -
Texture : Just right. Not too thick. Not too light. I love it!
Smell : No complaints.
So far, this is one of my favourite as it gives a dewy look *^__^* BUT. There's always a BUT. It makes my face SHINE within 2 hours or less. Yep, I have an oily/combination skin. And apparently, my sister's make up artist friend advised that Etude House BB Creams aren't friendly to oily skin girls as it INCREASES the shine. MEEP!

Sunplay Skin Aqua Silky BB Cream SPF29 PA++ (For oily/combi) -
Texture : Not too thick.
Smell : Strong scent of sunscreen.
I have this for sometime and still can't finish it. It's under my LOVE IT list ! Just need a 20cent amount to apply to the whole face (for a good skin day), slightly more if you are having a bad skin day.
No complaints but somehow it doesn't cover my eyebags that well :/

Loreal Paris White Perfect Transparent Rosy Glow BB Cream SPF20/PA++ (Latest & just got it two days ago from a Guardian store at RM49.90)
Texture : Perfect.
Smell : Like a face cream + sunscreen. Tolerable. Not strong.
I tested this on the back of my hand and.. the rest is history smile.gif
The texture is wonderfully even and not sticky at all. (Okay, maybe 5%)
I have yet to go full pledge with this darling. Will let you girls know if you want ^ ^

Next stop : Hanskin ♥
