Offline GPS? What's that? A-GPS is assisted GPS using your mobile phone coverage to pinpoint your location and assisting the GPS receiver on hard to reach places such as in the middle of the city. Standalone GPS just uses satellite signal to get a reception. But A-GPS might use data charges so be careful

yup you answered the question = )

p/s: I tried waxing the screen, REALLY EFFECTIVE but only for 2 days... sad.gif how about you?

they say the 2.3.4 is not stable.. tho.. Orz

imei code the same..
*
the truth is the "D" build ROM by CSL is a worthless piece of buggy shit

2.3.4 "E" build ROM by WellcoM is stable as fucuk thumbup.gif

since everyone is running andro-id custom ROM, perhaps I should try antutu bench with E build stock ROM @ 1.9GHz later, may be tj_style tweaked his custom ROM beyond just overclocking!

p/s: charging now hehe

What did you do to your phone? your RAM exceeded 512?

My phone is running on RC2 but can only recognize 349MB of RAM? is there something wrong with it?
*
errr..... that... is.... benchmark score.....?

No, not the benchmark score but the amount of memory that can be recognize by the phone... is there any hidden processes or apps eating the rest of the RAM?

As per product specs... this phone has 512MB of RAM but RC2 only display 349MB

from where did you get to know najmod has got >512MB RAM?? rclxub.gif rclxub.gif

All that beautiful UI come at a price, but you shouldn't worry too much about synthetic benchmark as long as it performs well anywhere else.

Mine is not stable too, there are no way to overvolt it further, the voltage is 1.5xxV AFAIR and that's very high, and I change to the 1.6GHz kernel afterwards because I rarely even use anything more than 768MHz (usually 460MHz is more than enough) even when playing 3D games now. The kernel is very efficient, I wonder if Napstar done anything to the Adreno clock to make it faster in games.

I changed to 3 ROM today, from RC2 to MIUI, back to RC2 then to Cherry Mobile then back to RC2 again. I found that any other ROM is not suitable for me anymore, so I just install Launcher7 and GOTO Lockscreen to make it fancier and stay at that.
*
yeah it's already 1.525v by default, kinda scary... ohmy.gif

& yes I agree, all games that I play run fine even @ as low as 460MHz, however... 720p 4000kbps+ movies would require >1.2GHz... I often find myself lazy to encode lol

the one I planned to do bulk purchase is silicone shock absorbent casing, RM25 only (zero profit)

whereas those some of you brought into topic are back covers, right? which offers no protection to the front, edges etc, and can easily fall off and crack during a drop, I know, because I already broke mine doh.gif lol

Settings -> Location & security settings -> tick:

- Use wireless networks
- Use assisted GPS
- GPS ephemeris auto download (for fastest result, but will consume more bandwidth)

& you UGPM, please check = D
