If a particular IBG transaction has failed due to incorrect/incomplete Beneficary Name, would the banks charged additional failure fee ?

QUOTE(ronnie @ Nov 18 2010, 08:55 AM) If a particular IBG transaction has failed due to incorrect/incomplete Beneficary Name, would the banks charged additional failure fee ? You'll just loss the IBG fee that's been deducted from your account. |

CIMB Clicks offer instant transfer for IBG. The charges seem reasonable for those who are urgent to get money transfer instantly.

For example, i was once denied to open a Basic Savings Account at Alliance Bank before. Instead, they insisted that i open other types of savings account such as their regular savings account or the Hybrid account. Citibank is yet another bank that doesn't simply allow people to open a Basic Savings Account with them. Mayb tat bank dun need money to operate |

The denied applicant may want to bring the case to the attention of BNM, if the bank has breached any Act (Akta).

I have 3 basic accounts and yet to face any issue from bank who don't "encourage" me to get basic account. All the time, i just insisted to get basic account otherwise i will just walk away and inform Bank Negara Malaysia. The bank should allow customer to choose what type of account they want, as long as we meet the requirements. |
