QUOTE(ben5639 @ Aug 15 2011, 03:26 PM) you need to open SuperUser app and update su binary file. Let it finish download. Then problem solve. On RCMix3D 234 since yesterday. Scrolling page by page are smooth. The smoothness that you never feel in any other roms. I think it's because of some enhancement in Android version 2.3.4 Added on August 15, 2011, 3:43 pm QUOTE(Ghostblind @ Aug 15 2011, 03:34 PM) Sun Global good quality ah ..? A little doubt about it. @ben5639
Well, that's strange. Then it will direct you to su app, just press update, let it finish then solve. At least, that is what I did. No such problem like yours. |

Don't bother about SuperCID. So if done, just download ROM Manager from Market in order to install Clockworkmod Recovery. You also have other options on how you want to flash CWM. Either this one or this one.. But I prefer and currently using the second link. Much better and more options using that CWM. P/S: Meaning, if you want to use either one of the link's given, so no need to download ROM Manager. This post has been edited by syuki: Aug 22 2011, 04:06 PM |

Nope.. Errr... We can describe ROM Manager like.....a base to flash recovery image, flash roms that are supported by rom manager, fix apps permission etc etc.. You got options whether you want to flash CWM (clockworkmod recovery) using ROM Manager... or.... straight away flash CWM w/o using RM. For me, w/o using RM is easier and save time (maybe a bit). Both links given is CWM but for the 2nd link, it's a customize CWM with a lot of options, not like a usual CWM. And I almost forgot, your DHD still don't have CWM, so the way you want to install CWM: - Click 1st link, download current version of CWM 4.0.1.4 - Just follow the installation guide provided in the thread. - Done. (Now you have a CWM recovery) But if you want to try the CWM from the 2nd link's given: - Download this. <--- Click - After finish download, copy this .zip file into the root of your SD Card. - By using 'Quick Boot', boot into recovery. - Find Install from SD card - Find Install zip from sdcard - Find the .zip file that you put inside you sd card. - Just follow the step and reboot your phone. - Done. Now your phone got CWM. _____________________________________________________________________________________ Radio image are not included with custom rom. Only kernel included with custom roms. For radio image, you need to flash it after you flash a custom rom. This post has been edited by syuki: Aug 22 2011, 04:40 PM |

QUOTE(pgcity @ Aug 22 2011, 04:48 PM) Thanks for clearing it up a bit more. Let me see how far i can get. I am going try step 2. Radio S-OFF and step 3.ENG S-OFF when i get home from work today and i will follow your suggestion for CWM from link 2.Having somehting with more options is always better than less. I will be posting more later. thank you. You got options which CWM you want to use. Either from the 1st link or go for 2nd link. But this is your 1st time flash CWM, so you must flash CWM from the 1st link first then you decide you want to stick with CWM from the 1st link or you can go for customize CWM on 2nd link. Happy flashing. |

QUOTE(Cynox @ Aug 24 2011, 05:26 PM) I flashed mine with ARHD latest 5.2.5 rom and HTC Sense 3.0 "All in 1" (version 0.3) for Android Revolution HD 5.2.x - with USB Connection Interface 0.2, Streak Live Wallpaper, Weather 0.13, Lock-Screen 0.17, SMS Bubble Interface & Advanced Power Menu. At last ....!!!!!! Our senior root his phone. Selected Lock Screen (Sensation) and selected a photos folder but it won't display the pictures after i turn on the screen, just a blank screen with Time and Date display. Anything I missed or din install? It is the main reason i flash custom rom coz i flash my wife's desire to a custom rom with this feature and it is so stunning!! Thanks. Have you tried to wipe dalvik ..? This post has been edited by syuki: Aug 24 2011, 07:14 PM |
