You can use that method, but a bit troublesome. Many steps to follow. Use AAHK, easier one.

And about the rom, I suggest you RCMix3D v4.0, lot of tweaks and mod support. If you like iPhone style, you can flash MIUI rom, iPhone lookalike.

How to apply theme ..? Most themes need to apply by using Clockworkmod Recovery. What is CWM ..?

- Downgrade your phone first. (To allow your phone to get root access)
- Root it. (You'll gain SuperUser access, something like administration access)
- S-Off it. (Remove HTC security)
- ENG S-Off it. (Gaining full access to edit system files in root bla bla bla)
- Flash clockworkmod recovery. (Something like, a platform for you to install themes, mods, wipe bla bla bla)
- Flash ROM. (Kernel included)
- Flash radio. (Not necessary, depends on you network coverage at your area)

Radio ..?

Radio will affected your network signal, wifi signal, bluetooth, voice (communication), mostly. Try one by one to see the result. If good result, signal would be better and vice versa.

Just pick 3 favorite radio in the radio thread and try. But I suggest you don't bother with radio first. Leave it just like that first.

About GPS, no need to flash any GPS tweaks first. Test the default one (that came with the phone). If GPS signal worst, go to that like you attached and download "old version v1.3 worldwide".

I think RCMix Runny v3.3 have a good battery life. For my usage, can last around 1 day 4 hour something.
Since yesterday morning, I'm using RCMix v4 I felt that battery life not as good as v3.3.

On the other side, ARHD is a Sense rom, same as RCMix. But ARHD is just a stock, clean rom. Not many tweaks included with that rom. But got many support in term of themes, mod from other XDA member / user, etc etc..
Donno about battery life on the newer version of ARHD. I'm sticking with MIUI at the moment.

Already root your phone or not ..? Which custom rom you use atm ..?

Stock HTC camera (old build I mean) don't have panorama mode.

For sony panorama and modded htc camera, you need to download the file and put it in your sd card, boot into CWM and flash it. Install the apk file using file explorer.

-Download the .zip file
-Put inside SD Card
-Boot to clockworkmod recovery
-Find "install zip from SD Card"
-Install the zip file
-Reboot phone
-Check 'Camera' app

Unfortunately you need to re-arrange it back. You cannot backup the widgets arrangement.

For the volume rocker tweak, after you tick the option that you want, have you try to reboot your phone. Try reboot and see how it goes after that.

UV means undervolt. It will underclock the frequencies / vdd of the cpu. Help your phone to gain a little extra battery saving.

I know you're still new in this, slowly learn la. But make sure before you apply any mods or tweaks, check whether that mods are compatible with the rom you use or not.

That one are specially made for ARHD. Yes, it is possible to use some of those mods but check whether is it compatible or not. Mostly we check based on build number. Check in Settings > About Phone > Software Info.

Why I said that one specially made for ARHD ..? Because ARHD can be described as stock rom with root feature. It is a plain rom, very lightweight in Sense rom category. Most of the mods there already included in RCMix3D.

Oh, transition animation.

Flash it, if you don't like it, just find the default animation back. If you can't find it, flash rom back WITHOUT full wipe. But AFAIK, RCMix3D comes with built-in full wipe feature.

full wipe, don't know what it means ah..? It will format, wipe all data and system file. Then you get a plain, default rom just like the 1st time you flash RCMix. So you need to arrange widgets back, install apps back, do this and that.

Added on November 22, 2011, 3:35 pm1) AFAIK, it will automatic change the brightness level when switching from camera to gallery, or vice versa.

2) All CPU tuner are available in RCMix tweaks. Make sure you have an internet connection, it needs to download the package file. You can choose either Virtuous daemon or Andrev_OC daemon .. Basically, both same function.
