just wanted to root my dhd, but this problem came up with the VISIONary + , already temproot the phone, but when i press "Attempt Permroot now", the phone doesn't reboot, just nothing happened. Tried manually reboot, nothing, and temproot again, still the same, stuck at permroot. what happen?!!! help~!

used this guide,

- Install and then open Visionary+
- Tap on Temproot now
- Tick Run visionary.sh after root" and "set system r/w after root" (optional. I guess it's mostly a taste option)
- Tap on Attempt permroot now (tap, nothing happen)

tried as  well earlier, the VISIONary + file are from the same source. couldn't get a permroot yet. sigh...

is there a problem if im on 2.2 android? i think it's just the build number rite? Before this, it's all stock custom without any modifications, did nothing. when using visionary, no superuser prompt(no need install superuser also rite? it's in the visionary rite?) In my case, i doesn't even have a reboot after permroot, just tap and no respond, no lag, like nothing happen. tried almost 5-6 times, keep installing and uninstall and reroot again. googled around some of them on r14 have the similiar problem with me, some could get a reboot but no permroot.

can u give me the dl link for runny 1.4?coz the one i got its a diifrent MD5 than what u post here :'(

tried as u said reset, and now still the same thing... omg, im so frust, im like half way on the highway.

if fail using vision.... try AMT... that one is damn easy to use...

done rooting! but end up got ppl offering to buy my phone on my expected price so just sold without really going thru it, but one word, damn nice and smooth!!!

Currently im facing a problem which is i unable to search a wifi network which is disable the dhcp from the router. Any solution please?

not really, i still love my DHD. But getting other gadgets (new DSLR), so not much things to post about DHD nowadays.

Getting a Android 10" soon but still undecided on which one to get - now considering between the Lenovo Thinkpad tablet and the upcoming Asus Transformer II. 

most likely will get one after Asus Transformer II is announced.  Most likely will get the Thinkpad Tablet coz will be using it as a semi-business tool.  But if Transformer II's specs is too irresistible, then might be wait for it.

I did consider the Galaxy Note too but the screen size like not here (not so pocketable like normal phone) nor there (screen a bit too small if use as tablet).  So DHD+10" tablet is more usable for me.

Just now passby a Samsung booth - play around with Galaxy II S and Galaxy Tab 10.1.  The tablet is really thin and light.    watching youtube on the Tab is superb. 

leaning more towards Thinkpad Tablet becoz it has more business features and another very important factor for me is its build-in SD card slot.  I will be using this pairing with an 500GB 2.5" external HDD as my photo bank of DSLR when i am going overseas trip. 

why my superuser keeps on force closing after I flashed Rcmix runny 1.4.

I dunno why i cant search the wifi network SSID from that device. I got try to search that particular wifi network SSID for my laptop & iphone but it connected as well by static ip setting.

In DHD, i cant even search out that wifi network SSID at all and how i going to connect it as well?
