thanks alot...

i think i got eng s-off and not radio s-off... didnt know both are 2 different thing...
*
Radio S-ON is something like a security files that created by vendor (i.e HTC). So Radio S-OFF is a platform for you to unlocked the device, to remove the security, which means you can access some system files. Default setting for example like HTC is S-On, you can't do anything with it (un-rooted). It also have something to do with system partitions but I forgot about this.

Now, ENG S-Off a.k.a Engineering H-Boot Security Off is a files which will FULLY unlocked the security of the device. Meaning you now can have absolute power to gain access and full control of your android device. smile.gif

So if you had ENG S-Off, then your device should be fine. So why bother about Radio S-Off. biggrin.gif

wanna ask whether is this correct

1. super wipe from previous rom
2. flash new rom
3. flash radio

do i need to do any factory reset after or in between?
*
Your step to wipe are correct actually. But make it more details. smile.gif

- Boot into CWM Recovery.
- Go to 'Advance'.
- Wipe dalvik-cache
- Then find wipe option (I forgot the option's name)
*Wipe System
*Wipe Data
*Wipe cache
- Then wipe data/factory reset.
- Lastly using any wiping patch (ARHD got Super Wipe / LeeDroid got 'Fullwipe to EXT 4')
*The most important thing is wipe it to EXT 4. Mostly new based rom now using EXT 4 partitions.
- Flash your rom.
- Reboot.
- ????
- Profit. thumbup.gif

syuki is runny rom come with the latest radio ril ? or i need flash separate?
*
Runny already came with latest RIL included. So if you flashed the latest radio (26.13.04.19_M), no need to flash RIL. smile.gif

thx sifu...didnt wipe dalvik-cache doing the process... can i wipe it later and what is that actually??

i already flashed the ROM..
Runny oh runny... you are so tempting... haha biggrin.gif
*
Wipe dalvik-cache at the 1st step could be optional aslo, but some say it also important because it got something related to applications to work.

What is dalvik-cache ..? I lazy to explain. biggrin.gif I'm sorry.

But you can find it here. smile.gif

I see... if it refers to the transfer speed from computer to card and vice versa then I'm okay with it as long as the performance on the phone is okay.

Just need space for music and movies only. The stock card is full since day 1. ;P
*
Actually higher class also helps in term of speed of an app. I mean speed, like open an app, closing app, open gallery, where the loading speed is way faster. When playing game also can notice the different.

If standby only, the "Display" percentage should be lower right ..? cool2.gif But mine, 54% of usage.

QUOTE(Cynox @ Sep 27 2011, 10:04 AM)
EDIT: anyway to change the wallpaper display back to earlier type?  i.e. the wallpaper will move when you move the homescreen left and right.  Got the Koi wallpaper before flashing sense 3.0 ROM, now a bit wasted coz can only see the centre section of the "pond".  tongue.gif
*
Wallpaper will scroll left and right also ..? hmm.gif I think that feature din have anymore on Sense 3.0 and above.

I'm using Digi prepaid now~ is it better than buy the phone itself or buy with Digi's internet plan? smile.gif
*
Hi there, welcome. smile.gif smile.gif

Need to know, actually you really want to go for postpaid or still want to use prepaid. I think there are many DHD user here using prepaid. Forget already who, need to browse back to other previous thread. biggrin.gif

It depends on that person, some prefer prepaid, some prefer postpaid. If you're not thingking to move to postpaid, just buy the phone itself.
