QUOTE(jingle @ Oct 7 2011, 03:45 PM) Hey guys, my friend bought a S plus and he facing a battery life problem now. He said that sometimes when he turned off the phone, it still drains the battery. His S plus couldn't last for a day long. I've checked out XDA forum, and flashed 2.3.4 for him, the problem still existing. I put the phone idle for 2 hours after fully charged, the battery left 77% only with usage of 50% cell standy and 50% phone idle. Anyone encounters the same problem here? same prob here..battery drains so fast...should i bring to service center since it still under SME warranty?... Added on October 25, 2011, 7:19 pmQUOTE(Prg @ Oct 16 2011, 05:56 PM) depending on your data provider, check ur apn..then make sure you tick to use packet.data... i'm using maxis prepaid..by the time i enable packet data it always deduct my credit even witout sending any mms... is there any solution to send and receive mms without enable packet data?... All apps will be clean and your sms and phone book and etc. Sometime some application will drain your battery very fast. When in standby mode also. So for confirmation before bring to samsung. 1. Hard reset your phone. 2. Remove your external sdcard. 3. Do not install any app. Do not confirm any gmail and any sync setup. 4. Full charge your handphone. 5. Unplug your charger and leave it overnight. 6. Check how is the battery status next morning by refer to Status-About Phone-Battery Use

QUOTE(greenmiks @ Oct 26 2011, 01:53 PM) Thanks for the guide... hope you find something can fix it. I bought it from somewhere which don't have warranty. I've tried everything I can. Reset the phone, monitored the battery, flashed the latest firmware and custom rom, I even swap battery with my friend which has a working fine sgs+. The result still the same. I tried with airplane mode as well, it still drains that fast!
