I wouldn't mind getting it except for the GPU. Don't mind if it is only 720p and has Optimus but I find the fact it's using the GT555M Type A deeply disappointing. Can only hope it's not the case.

Is the difference between type A and B really huge? Any link for the comparison?

What you mean by type A? How bad it is? Which GPU comparable to this GT555M? I thought GT555 suppose around HD6770M standard or even higher a bit?

Well if you refer here http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...post&p=43680717 in a post from the GPU discussion thread, the GT555M type A is just a souped up GT550M with higher clockspeed and GDDR5 VRAM.

Still I think even though it's type A but with it's price tag @ RM2799, it should be quite worth.

This is funny, I refer back to the laptopmag review as states it's using the GDDR3 version of the GT555M. Technically you can't put 2GB of VRAM onto a 192-bit bus.
