Tell them to give a definite date..who knows...1 month?? Now you can't drive your car, if me, i'll write in to demand a new car in exchange instead of waiting for the car....alternatively, ask them to give you a temporary car to use until they have stock!

P2 QC isn't neccessary better. There were loads of VIVAs with brake issues when launched....Myvi has a steering rack (or something, can't remember) issue, which P2 knows, but keep diam-diam. At one time the bottom of my old Myvi sounds like earthquake when going over bumps....it was a known issue, but they never bother to do recall until you go and complain, then only they change it for you. At least Proton quickly do a recall, eventhough there's only 60 power hose problems in the Inspira...

I tell you bro, just complain and write in, later 2 months also no stock...this is very common for all cars, if you need to import parts, it'll take forever. Demand a new car for exchange, BUT YOU MUST WRITE IN. Give them 10 days to reply, then if no reply or not satisfactory, write to the papers and raise a claim in Truibunal court. In your letter, demand a new car in exchange and also tell them you will write to the papers and raise a case with the Tribunal Court. Then only they will take note and layan you.

Probably we can go outside workshop and they can source it from Mitsu...hopefully...sweat.gif...but it not only applies to Proton, but all cars manufacturer. Usually Service Center only stock common small parts...expensive major parts, they won't keep...it's a fact. Nobody is going to standby with an engine or gearbox for part replacement...unless maybe it's mass market cars like VIVA, MYVI, SAGA etc....as long as the parts is not locally manufacturerd, you'll have a hard time waiting for parts.

I didn't write to MAXIS, i straight complain to MCMC because it is a ready made service specially to complain on Telcos. smile.gif Just log online to create the report and explain your situation, kaw tim. But cars is big issue, you'll need the paperwork.
Maybe you can ask Michael Chong to do press conference haha...since ur brother in the press...he should knows who to contact lar.

Actually, i dunno about u guys, i get EXCELLENT SERVICE from Streamyx. No kidding. Used it for donkey years, and is on the 4MB package over a year.....if streamyx down, just call in complain and ask for billing department to get your rebate. The guy on the other end of the phone, just ask how much you want. Asked and you shall received!!! $$$$.

My line got problem other day due to their technician after fixing the line (i think the exchange hit by lightning), Sunday also they send people to my house and fix the problem!!!

Seriously, TM > Proton!!! thumbup.gif

For rebate no need to complain to MCMC. Just asked only, especially now that Streamyx has officially made annoucement of interruption, you just blow water also they dunno nor care to check. They'll just give u back the money...haha. Just say you can't access all these overseas site, so how? Rebate money lor... rclxms.gif

People must be aware of your rights, otherwise, big corporation will just walk all over you....last time a friend of mine write in and complain Air Asia service.....he gets a free ticket....haha.

As for Campro Turbo, i am still skeptical. Been reading some write up on turbo engine, seems like maintining and driving a turbo engine needs a lot more care than normal aspirated engines. Seriously, i'll rather wait for a while..maybe 2 years at least to see how this Turbo Campro turns out....dun wanna be white mice....with exisitng MIVEC engine, it has already been tested and proven for years....smile.gif

Pickup at low end is good enough to me. I'll say it better than a 1.6 Forte auto which i've tested, but from 120km/h - 160km/h....is very easy....in fact...just kick up the rev to 4k - 4.5k rpm into the MIVEC zone and the car will fly, even at lower speed...but of course, if drive like that sure makan minyak lor....

Normal city driving 100% jam is 8km/l - 9km/l. Highway 100km/h-160km/h is 14 km/l. If you constantly drive at 90km/h, probably you can achieve 16km/l.
