welcome home light system i believe is when you unlock your car by remote controller, head lamp&rearlamp and interior light(if you switch to "door") will stay on for around 30second, both 1.8 and 2.0 variant also equip with. i believe you only can switch interior light on or off according you open door or closed status, and cannot switch off headlamp and rearlamp stay on a while while you unlock the car this feature.

yeah , sothy, i belive it just a typo.

5x112 is vw common size, 5x120 is bmw common size, 5x130 is porsche common size, while popular size like 4x100,4x114.3,5x114.3,5x100 is japan size/popular size.
*
bro, it is not..

try this,

when reach home, off your engine, take out the key, then tap the highbeam, the low beam lights will remain on for 30 seconds even if the key is removed and alarm is on.

of course, it will auto off in 30 seconds.

Yes, you can use distilled water for the radiator to mix with the green coolant. Its better to mix so coolant is more diluted. Coolants can be quite corrosive (anti rust properties, some old school mechanics ask you not to put any coolant at all!).

CVT oil now has a different cooling coil added by proton which lancers do not have.
*
earlier lancers do not have. the later batches have it

extra 'accessories' that i found in my inspira ,a bunch of tissue in the trunk to cover the hole and stapler bullet near my front tyre ,is it mine ,or all inspira come with this extra accessories?
*
haha..the staples are new..mine doesnt have it.

the 'tissue' is for the insulation..it is in all lancers world wide..just put it back in place and problem solved.. still searching for the cover for the middle steel thing..will be much better if can find it.

Hi all,

I know that is it premature, but I just signed for the loan. A 2.0P Plum Red. Expected to get the car after Raya. Am doing research right now, but I couldn't get the information i was hoping to look for. I hope to get some insights from you guys.

1. Burn in - my previous cars recommends for a slow drive before 1000km service. But i read somewhere in the forum that hard driving actually gives a better performance in the future.....I am confused. Can anyone please verify this?

Thanks
*
it is stated in the manual, not to go above 130 or 120km/h smile.gif

Hi everyone,

Just wondering why this morning when I started my Inspira the RPM remained at around 1100? Normally it would start at around 1100 and then settled at around 550 - 600 after few seconds.

Thx guys.

*
normal. all cars also like that

Have you tried using any VS? If you do, does this still occurs?
*
i dont, but logically it wont make any difference. hydraulic pump get the power from the engine, hence the increased rpm

bro , when you purchase T10, got many type, the normal white one which blue tint is white + blue to produce white color, not really a true white compare to LED one, LED also got few different type, one is illuminate in one way, one is multiway with few led inside or some reflect architecture , better purchase the one with multiway, expensive a bit. our car number plate light hide inside there , i 'm afraid difficult abit to change it, compare to waja where you can open trunk and change it , its very easy.
ya..i know, i changed my front small light to philips T10 already and it is very impressive, now thinking want to change the license plate number as well, but not sure how to do it.

Added on September 2, 2011, 1:05 pmhow much you brought for a pair philips actually? its blue tint one or led one?
*
mine, it is around rm140+, forgot the actual amount, but roughly there

it is LED one, 6000K, dont get the 4300k. either get the 6000k or 6700k. no regrets. tongue.gif

just found out that our side signal(the fender signal) also uses T10..would be cool if change to LED as well.like those mercs. tongue.gif

haha..i was thinking bout DRL before, but have to cut the bumper and things liddat..

one question, if u put the one touch connector, can open again? and if open, will it expose the wire?

I believe front only.
2 front, 2 rear...but most of the time, sound comes from the front. but it is better to change the rear as well.

the problem is that the rubber bushing is too soft, and allows the stabiliser bar to move too much when cold, hence the nyek nyek sound.

the kluk sound, some says that it is due to the bump stopper in the absorber.
