Just bought persona (MT) M-Line. Did a drive and i heard a loud hissing sound for 2 to 3 seconds at one time... I have read many complaint and they mentioend it was due to aircond leak? Anyone here faced this issue before and after bought new car?

If yes, what is the solution for that?

I have informed the sales agent to check with their technician, he said OK. Lets see how...

It does happened so far once.. Don't know yet in future... Any idea? Have you checked with proton technician?

I just took my brand new Persona M-Line Manual yesterday and now it is 1 day old car.. Here are some of my review and person who has this similar issue can help me to get some idea on why..

1) No knocking sound on right hand side driver side (as usually PE users complain)

2) Hissing/Rattling sound from AC (every 2 min). The situation goes like this:- I noticed that my AC is cool, and at one moment when the AC back from cold to warm air, this hissing sound will start (which last for 4 second), then the air will back to cold again. Why the AC changing from cold to warm and vice versa? ( anybody face this issue)? And why there is hissing sound which generated during air change from warm to cold?

3) When press break, it so hard to stop the car. I feel like the break is so soft and i have to press it really hard to make the car stop if i drive fast.

4) Gear transition is hard too....

5) When i ON wiper (1-speed), i hear "tik.. tik..tik" sound but after increase more power.. (maybe 2-speed) the sound gone. Any idea?

6) Ignition light sometime keep ON during driving and sometime just ok... That really scares me.. I have read manual and it says that maybe the engine emission prob. Any body face this issue? Is it when timing high, the light will ON?

7) Finally.. my timing is really high. When change gear from 2 to 3-speed, the RPM jump from 2000 to 3000 easily.. its really high rev (initially i have checked with proton SC, they said since it is new car, the RPM usually will be high.They said will re-tune during 1000km service. Anybody face this issue?

Oww.. really.. Means it is common and normal la.. emm ok.. Now i have to check my #6 and #7 issues. I think both are co-relate each other.

And have you noticed that when the oil needle is on middle of 0 and 1/2, the "low oil icon" meter will shown up? But when i check the balance km, it shows can go still 55km..

Hi Thanks for your help. Regarding the RPM, during idling (with AC on), the RPM is below 1k. My problem is during changing gear to 2 and 3, when i press clutch, the RPM will jump from 2000 to 3000 (at this time the engine sound will be like ramming). Is that normal?

OK. Thanks dude. I just worried that this could cause my oil consumption bit higher.

Why there is brake noise (krak) after the car stop? When i press and hold the brake and the time i release a bit (krak sound) again. Any idea? My car just 4 days old..

Drove car and when i turn off engine, the radiator fan is still running... I have read it in forum that the running radiator fan is to cool the engine after we shut down the engine for almost 2 to 3 min.. (which happens very rare). I also believe is not for proton persona model only, but others imported car too.. (if not mistaken)

Hopefully it is not a engine problem..

OK.. I have asked my brother whether he drove fast o not.. but he said drive around 80 to 90km/h. Emm.. not really sure he is telling truth o not cause if not i will scold him. )

Anyway.. i was driving from KL to Teluk Intan, Perak non-stop 80 to 90km/h for 2.5 hours (midnight) and no issue. Rev between 2 to 2.5 oni..

Maybe i guess my brother rev more and don't want to tell truth.. hehe.. It's ok.. Biasala.. hehe

Bro.. wanna ask u.. why there is a "krak" sound on uneven road on rear side? I have read about the "tak tak" sound in front which cause by imbalanced fluid supply.. But how about rear side? I don't think so its a rear seat issue as the sound is like " kraakkk"..
