If u're driving H-line & u still feel that the dashboard is very plastic, then u obviously haven't felt the B/M-line PE dash yet. For me, I think that the PE's dashboard is already quite nice to the touch compared to the likes of the previous generation Myvi and even the Forte. Kia is smart, the Forte's dash feels nice, but only at the place that u usually touch. Try to touch the areas that u don't usually touch, like under the steering console, the middle console, the lower part of the door trim, the seat belt panel at the B-pillar. The quality of plastic they used throughout the car is uneven, and they concentrated on making the place that u commonly touch feels good & nice while everywhere else is crap. Don't believe me? Go to Kia's showroom & find out for urself. Kia had to cut costs here & there to make the Forte affordable (cheap for some), but they did it in a pretty tricky yet smart way.

VLT 63%? That's quite high actually.. xD If u wanna do something else in ur car, then settle for VLT below 60%..

VLR 20%.. This is the reflection rate.. Depends if u like ur windows to be reflective or look dark.

IRR 78%. Now.. This 1, the higher the better if u wanna protect ur dashboard & keep ur car cool. InfraRed heat Rejected. But do note that the higher this point is on ur windshield, ur SmartTag/gate remote control may not be able to work.

UHR 99%. Another important point, Ultra Violet Heat Reflected. This is important as we all know UV rays are harmful even to our skin. Can cause cancer wan lah.

VLT = The lower, the darker ur tint is. Mine is 55% VLT with 17% VLR, so it's reflective when there's light outside the car, but u can see into the car when it's dark outside. Which means during day time or under street light at night it's harder to see in the car. UHR is now at 99% for most middle to high range tint, so no worries about that. IRR higher better, but it depends what's ur priority. If u wan heat rejection only, then go as high as ur budget allows. Anything below 87% will ensure that ur SmartTag & remote control works properly from inside the car. Mine is at 85%, just nice.

Ya, is Bosch. Some said Bendix, some said RS. A lot of the people here have used RS pads which was bulked by TS.
Today went to a detailing clinic and was recommended using Opti Seal on the rims. Used it once per month on the rims and no need to wash so hard, just rinse with water only.

Yea confirmed Bosch.. Can double triple quadruple confirm this as I have a set of OEM Bosch pads in my car.. Maybe non PE are not using Bosch pads.. But many of the parts in our car are made by Bosch.. Sensors.. Wiper, brake pads, even the iafm module is made by bosch..

i saw this too, the tail pipe are also a helo kitty shape very special want, this dude are around puchong i guest cos the last i saw this kancil at puchong brothers.

Err bro, i am driving Persona not PE. Last time got the promotion my trading you old car for Rm5k and buy Protons car. I bought my M-line for Rm47k only after discount. Last time M-line is Rm52k and H-line is RM57k. it is RM 5k diff  So i total save RM10k to mod my car.  I should get manual but my mom insisted me to get auto.    Btw last time i got cheated by the stupid SA seller who told me M-line got ABS.    Last time i din do research on the car.

hello guys...i own a persona b-line 2010 chiffon green..
have problem wit the rpm meter...

story was like this...
my RPM meter works fine when i 1st bought the car at 2010...recently in april 2011 the enjin start to make some noise..
so i decided to bring it to the SC nearby my place which was in jalan peel at KL area...so they said it was the water pump problem...and they said i should leave my car there so they can change it and so i left my car there for a day...then the next day i came back to get my car everything was fine ....then suddenly when i turn on my car the enjin light was flashing and the RPM jump to the max which is 8...it was at 1(normally when u start the car)for 1 second and then jump to 8...i was shock and they check the problem but could not find what the problem is....but that time i could not leave my car for another day bcoz i was rushing to use my car...

then recently i juz went there on JUN to fix the problem left my car there again to check for a day....
next day came back....still they could not find the problem....they change all the enjin part and still the RPM meter still went up to 8....was very annoyed...coz gone back there and left my car still no solution in solving my problem...waste my time and money...from water pump to RPM meter if this fix after that another problem.....(hopefully can fix)

so now im asking any forumer that have any experience or know whats the problem to share with me...thx.....

no idea. bcoz dun think that these lock are useful. if ur car is targetted to be stolen. then say bye bye. even if u have 10 locks + immobilizer + all high tech stuff in BMW, mercedes to prevent theft also no use. they definitely will be able to steal ur car.

hmm...its correct. i do agree. it delays time. actually to steal a car, the 1st thing to do is disable the alarm. then no one will care wat u are doing to the car. coz no one knows who that car is. unless ppl that knows.
i should say that syndicates are even better in stealing than hijacking. hijacking had more risks. as wat The Star had previously shared in their paper. but is true lah. lock is useful somehow.
