Just 2 sen from my heart:

Dear Msian team (+coaches & FAM), if you want your names forever in the shit list, please go ahead and lose the 2nd game at Bukit Jalil.

It's fans like you that caused the loss of support for the national team over the years. On the basis of consistent disappointment from the national team, shouldn't the English, Dutch, Portugese and French (prior to '98) stop supporting their country?

But sad to say, I have a feeling that majority of our countrymen will share your sad sad sad opinion sad.gif

i think almost 10 years ago, someone from the m-league clubs manager already said the league can't produce good local defenders ... looks like still happen now ...

the 3rd goal is awesome ... fast counter attack ...

sorry tapi mmg i find it funny ppl shouting out sudden change of formation just because of 1 result. yes it is a bad result but not because of the tactics. it is there, the players just did not execute it well. we have won matches with 4-4-2, y need to change over period of 4-5 days just because we're chasing a game. maybe late on, if we're desperate yes but not at the starting. u change formation who is unfamiliar to urself when u have nothing to depend on.

theoretically, yes putting ppl fwd increases chances to score but in reality there needs to be a gel for that formation to work. how to gel -->practice in real games, tried and tested method. have u ever try urself playing in real game, not fm, changing style of play without proper practice. i have and i have seen it crumbles.

teams in MSL dun use WB with 3 man defence too much. maybe a rotation between 4-4-2 to 4-5-1/4-3-3 would be too unfamiliar as some sides in the league do employ the tactic occasionally but wingbacks.. hardly none. correct me if i'm wrong

i must admit.. it is really true.. but previous match Malaysia vs Chelsea FC..

subramaniam is really awesome center back in that game..
but that one is after he kena kutuk like crazy because of his previous bad defending style Malaysia vs Singapore juga..
when he was in Malaysia national team.

i think he already learn something already.. experience tought!

guys, I have question.

If the result on 2nd leg is (Malaysia)2-1(Singapore)
is it a draw (so need extra time) or Singapore win by aggregate 6-5.

I confuse since we have 3 away goal.

Marilah kita bersama-sama berdoa kepada Allah S.W.T agar Ar-Rahman memberi kemenangan kepada pasukan kita. InsyaAllah. smile.gif

First of all, other than Msia, why do you all support your favourite teams/clubs in other countries like Arsenal/Chelsea/Liverpool/Barca/R.Madrid/Milan etc?
Why do you see more reds or blues in the stadium in the last 2 weeks than yellows-black?
There's only 1 reason - they can perform.

We are born Msians by birth. That's fair. And you guys also support your favourite teams, by choice. That's also fair. The English, the Dutch, Portuguese as well as French have garnered the supports from their nationals and also won their fans' respects because they know their players can perform.

The Indians and Pakistanis also win the respects from their supporters and fellow countrymen, not in gymnastics, not in football/soccer, but in crickets and hockey because they are proud of their achievements and performance in these sports.

So do the Chinese. Yao Ming, their icon in basketball. Their gymnasts, their badminton star Lin Dan and so on. Because they know their supports will be rewarded and answered by world class performances at the world stages. Now, do you expect to see Chinese cricket fans showing support in amateur cricket match? Hardly.

Football is the most popular sport in the world. Yet we hardly see much supports shown by Chinese and Indians. That's because they know that even with 2.5 billion populations, they can hardly find 11 dudes that can kick the ball straight.

Back to Msia. While supports are very important in crucial matches like World Cup qualifier against arch-rivals Singapore, do you expect all Msians to show blind supports to the teams who have repeatedly disappointed their fans in so many years? Football is a popular sport in Msia even before Msia Independence. We saw our past achievements quickly and quietly become the dusts in the history of Msian football, with nothing much to show since then. We feel proud, sad, disappointed at some points. We celebrate, cry, condemn. But in our hearts, we know that we are always, and forever be Msians. We prayed for victories. But what can we do other than that?

The dictators in FAM have been at helm for far too long. Nothing much have changed. Do you expect the footballers to follow suits?

I call this BS. If it indeed by "Performance" as you claim, i bet after 2005 Anfield would be empty, have they won anything ? yet fan stand by them through rain.. through the wind... what about Arsenal ? Chelsea have they won anything beyond domestic ? Do you call that blind support as well ? So what then for these fan they left and start being Man United now ?
Why dwells and whine about things we could not change such as FAM and all we all know nothing could change. Let's do what we can for those 11 Malaysian on the field trying at their best to make us proud. If you gave up your support because of this, then go ahead... Honestly i do not think that Harimau Malaya need support from such fan who only been there during their glory days.

fail troll. China have participated in World Cup. And Indian, they don't have a proper football stadium to begin with.

based on your long BS theory, as per say we can only support Squash & Badminton? or maybe Silat & Takraw. what a boring country it will be. btw, out of curiosity what team did u support? i'm expecting the answer is Barcelona. heck even barca lost to Madrid in Copa del Ray. Please named the team that unbeatable.

Please, we have more logic than that. Sure, we WON'T reach the olympics, let alone the World Cup anytime soon, but does that mean that the team don't need our support. Chinese and Indians don't support their football team, big deal. We are NOT them. And you answered your own question on what we can do to our team. We stand behind them all the time. We give them our support. We push them on. We let them know that no matter what, we are there for them.
