i discovered tat we actually dun need the HW550 if we are connected to the net via Win7 cause Win7 itself can be a WiFi router itself, just tried it today and its fast too

and the HW550 can be a WiFi router if we dun on the PC itself

Today only you know? tongue.gif

Actually I got to know this for quite sometimes but only tried it two days ago.
However, it wasn't that impressive compared to connecting it via HW550.

Not sure which factor causes it. hmm.gif

If it is impressive, I would have the E1762 hooked to my laptop and share out my 3G connection.
But too bad, it wasn't working well for me. Additionally, my iPad can't seem to connect to it.
Kept appearing the authentication page whereby I was required to enter the username and password which I have no idea what are they.

Yes, reason being the router causes the limitation. smile.gif

Nevertheless, if my housemate decides to ditch her E1762 away and gives it to me, I don't mind giving this method a second try.
After all, lugging around the heavy router when I go back hometown is not fun. blush.gif
