actually... this got me thinking...
the new version supposedly is able to wake up Viber when messages or calls come in coz originally the complain from users were that it's supposedly consuming battery when its running.
so... won't all calls and messages get connected immediately if this is the case?
or is this new version thingy only applicable to Android...? which means:
* android-to-ios, the above applies.
* android-to-android... calls and messages will all go thru immediately?
I'm not sure I understand fully what you mean..the new version supposedly is able to wake up Viber when messages or calls come in coz originally the complain from users were that it's supposedly consuming battery when its running.

Viber gives you the option to exit the app, and still be available to receive calls/texts. When you Exit Viber, the app itself is not even running in the background (it's completely shut off, including all of its services). C2DM takes care that if you have an incoming call/text, Viber will be "awakened" and receive it.
