Adobe has released some sort of flash server that allows the site to stream flash content to iOS devices.

Apple is pushing HTML5 and a lot of websites are implementing HTML5 but a lot more websites are still maintaining flash based content. Apple hates Flash with a vengeance (if you follow what Jobs has been saying).

I just don't see Apple doing anything about Flash in the near future. They want people to follow them and they won't do the same.

i dont know what's the future for silverlight

even microsoft is pushing html5

HTML is the future but Flash is so embedded in so many websites it will take a looooong time before we will have trouble free browsing on the iOS.

Don't sync yet. When you connect the iPhone, in iTunes find the menu that says "Authorize Computer" which will allow you to transfer your iPhone data to your computer. Once everything has been transferred, do a backup of your iPhone and then Sync.

If u got 4.3.3 ipsw sure can do manual restore
*
You are giving people shitty advice. He CANNOT simply restore to 4.3.3 as Apple no longer signs the firmware. His restore will fail.

Even if he has the 4.3.3 IPSW files, a simple Shift + Restore using that file will fail as it will not pass Apple verification server. Stop giving advice that is going to screw up people's phone.

He can only restore to 4.3.3 IF he has the 4.3.3 SHSH for his iPhone saved either in Cydia or if he has saved it locally via TinyUmbrella

The restore process is not a simple Shift + Restore as he needs to setup his host file to bypass the Apple verification serverm he needs to run TinyUmbrella TSS Server which will allow him to do that and he most likely will need to run all this in DFU mode.

There is a whole page of guide on how to do it and IT IS NOT SIMPLE.

Most likely the replacement unit will be on 4.3.5 as it has been out for 2 months already.

guys, my iphone 4 need to always reconnect to wifi coz after about an hours there will be no internet connection.any idea?
*
Apple products (iPhone, iPad, MacBook) hates the wireless N router. Some N routers doesn't go well with Apple. When I was using my Netgear Wireless N, my idevices disconnects every 15 minutes. The Wifi icon is okay but there is no connection. I had to switched on/off the wifi in my iDevices before I can get the connection restored. Ended up replacing the router with a Wireless G Linksys router. Rock solid and have had no issues.

This is a well known issue with iDevices. People have complained in Apple Support Forum for ages but nothing has been done about it.

in cydia the green colour word stated is 4.3.5 =(

btw if i bring to pyramid maxis center can i get replacement on the spot?anybody get on the spot or need to wait how long?
*
Then you only have 4.3.5 SHSH availble for you which will not alow you to downgrade to 4.3.3

As for warranty issues, based on feedback from forummers here, the Maxis KLCC centre will give a 1-1 exchange within a couple of hours.

i try to restore and update but everytime the download will fail...anybody can help?i cant restore and update now...then the light wont go off also =(
*
Downloading via iTunes is always a problem since the file is so big, I always download my firmware from a trusted site like iClarified (which will give you a direct link from Apple Server instead of those files in rapidshare/hotfile etc)

You can find the firmwares here

AT&T sets are locked set, does not matter if you have a gajillion type of frequency on the iPhone 4, if it's AT&T and it's locked, you CAN ONLY use AT&T simcard. If you want to use other operator's simcard, you need to unlock the phone either by going to AT&T and asking for the code or by running a software unlock (if your baseband qualifies for the unlock) or via a hardware unlock (Gevey Sim).

Once in a while it's good to be able to restore the iPhone. Just make sure you have all the necessary data before restoring as you can only restore to 4.3.3 IF you have the 4.3.3 SHSH saved. Otherwise, no go.

hi guys.
i have a question.
I just purchased  a new Mac.
Previously, I synced my iPhone to the old Mac.
Now I'd like to sync it to my new Mac.
But when i connect it to the new Mac, it say it will wipe out all my data.
So my question is, will the folders i created for my apps will be gone also?
Thanks!
*
Before doing anything, make sure you authorize your new Mac and backup your iPhone first. As for syncing, I'm not particularly sure what will happen though. Most likely you are now allowed to sync to 2 computers .... that's my understanding. I might be wrong.

That's what the reboot or hard reset method is for .... this happens. It's a complicated OS, bound to happen. Jailbreak or no jailbreak.

currently i'm using ios 4.3.2..currently when we connect to itunes..it will appear for the option to upgrade to 4.3.5..how is the way to only download 4.3.3..any1 can teach me?
*
You can always download the 4.3.3 IPSW file but it does not mean you can upgrade to that firmware. The only way you can upgrade to a firmware version that Apple no longer approve of is via SAVED SHSH. If you do not have it, don't bother doing it. It will fail.
