Hi! i have problem with my safari where my safari keep crashing whenever i open it. I also have problem to update to 6.1.3.

resetting phone taking forever and restoring would be a problem since i have a very limited internet connectivity.

does anyone have similar problem?

current os is 6.0.1

can iphone 4S sync with google contact?
if i buy second hand iphone, it still links to the prev user icloud? or i can resetting it to my own icloud?
never own i-product before except iPod

guys, have a problem here.. my wife's iphone 4s

iPhone Generation :
iphone 4S from Celcom

Current Firmware :
iOS 6.1.3

Current network:
Celcom

Jailbreaking software :
No (all stock)

Problem Encountered :
battery drain like crazy. charged to 100%, use for 30-60mins, phone shuts down. Recharge back, after awhile the phone ON with battery % very high. even make 1 call also the phone shuts down. can see the battery drain like 2% every minute (if u leave the screen On and watch the battery drains)

Steps Taken So Far :
Erase and Reset, all to factory settings, no apps. Battery drained to 0% and charged to 100% a few cycles to calibrate back. Still no cake..

Other Information/Remarks :
battery was fine (very good) before updating to iOS 6.1.1. now after 2 updates (6.1.2 and 6.1.3) still not solved.

Is your device getting very hot during the battery drain?
You can try replace the battery.

yep. battery gets unsually hot.
i think its related to the OS coz the problem appears after the update.
the problem is similar to those i read on the net about OS draining the battery.
well, i pening already trying to reset, recalibrate.. huhu..
anyone knows apple/iphone repair centre near kajang/bangi/putrajaya/cyberjaya?

Bought new iPhone 5 from Machines shop

We have updated many 4S to the latest ios but doesn't face such problem.( Usage 30 - 60 min shuts down)
I suspect its the battery or maybe even the pmic on your logic board which is causing this problem.

Battery can cost you anywhere from rm80 - rm200++ depending on the quality and the labor charges. Replacing the logic board will cost you a bomb, better option would be repairing the logic board if found faulty.

sent the 4s for troubleshooting.
if its not the iOS then i guess maybe the pmic is the culprit..

Most prolly your IOS is not compatible with your installed app. You will need to remove it if you ever get to "safe mode".

Yes you can sync it with google contact, just search google contact sync via google, then you will find the solution taught by Google itself.
No, iCloud need ID to log in, as long as the previous user remove his/her iCloud ID then the phone is not sync with the iCloud.


Have you ever try to restore it as new via iTunes? download the firmware again and try restore it as new, after that then put your backup back. Hope this help

did u try plug in power..then press home and start button - 15-20 seconds?

1. make sure your itunes is up to date
2. backup your iphone
3. Update ios.

or you download ipsw file (google: ipsw ios) for that particular iphone model and ios ver, then at itunes; control + click "restore", and select the ipsw file.

2. save on your desktop
3. at itunes, control + click "restore" (option for mac)
4. select the ipsw file

a. make sure your itunes is up to date
b. wifi connection while restoring.
