anyway, some should stop bashing the players.they are all yet to gel. This is not our full strength team yet.

Gerrard, johnson and aquilani will play and make the team tick.So chillax and lower down your expectations.

Realistically we can only tell if a title challenge is possible when we have our full strength team.

Flanno was always sloppy in his plays. oh well so much for best reserve of 2010 / 2011. Comeon johnson and co, be a man and stop getting injured so easily larhh wei. Aquilani is better than hendo larh. Apesal niii KD?

Exactly, should have more constructive feedback.

i wonder what is wrong in second half, everyone was like lost. We lost the tempo, lost the past, and lost direction somemore. There is no link again between midfield and front, and putting downing to right hand probably not very good, ppl expect him to cross with left foot.

Anyway, just draw one game don have to complain like what...it is still a club we supported, it is the club we went to see at Bkt Jalil stadium..

Haha kudos twtang thumbup.gif
Afterall, football is unpredictable, even the ball itself is round...ritee? who knows in 6 years back, Liverpool won CL from 3-0 down at 1st half laugh.gif I bet if "those people" who are AC Milan fans at taht time, Dida, Nesta, Maldini would have been dead sweat.gif

Yeap, 1st half was so lively... Exciting, adrenaline rush, pacy, promising..
But lacks in those qualities during 2nd half..
Wes Brown in the 2nd half was ROCK SOLID...Together with a wonderful strike from Seb.Larsson, i think 1-1 is a fair results..

10-15mil at best bro. 20mil came from being english, january transfer window, newcastle not willing to sell and Liverpool desperate for striking options

what a bad mistake by john flanagan. he just let the ball arrived to larsson without doing anything to cover the angle for reina or try to distract larsson from doing something. he should have known where the cross would end up but it is as if he was there doing nothing to help the defense. kelly should have started from the beginning. he's more confident in the air and can help the attack without being a liability.

i hope we can win the next game against arsenal.

I still believe carroll is class. The problem is the ball spraying. That ain't right man. We spent the $ in return of pace and quality movement. Not ball spraying from the defensive line. Carra should be advised bout that. We're making the same mistake as the previous season despite the money spent. So it's time to get our game on. Come on POOL! Don't ruin yet another weekend next week!

Well, enuf with Flanno bashing. He learnt his lesson already, the hard way.
Hopefully we can improve in the next game. And please, KD, dont rotate players too much as it will distrupt our play.

Exactly, look at the entire squad since the failure season from Benitez till last year, everyone is new except our C23.

Normally troubleshooting with isolation method, C23 is the problem la.

hahahahaha...

You see, we got new DR, Agger considered great, new DL. Then followed by Downing, Adam, Lucas (from shit to gold), then Henderson. Fron Suarez + Caroll.

All new, except C23.

There were plenty of mistake made apart from the goal.
Losing ball at dangerous area at least twice, can easily result another goal if Sunderland players are clinical enough.

It is not bashing, mistake done is done.
Kelly is more solid and better in defending, more like no frill defender.

Flanagan should not play tonight, 1st half game look very attractive, lfc got lots of chances , 2nd half, tactic totally different , arhhhhhh , so frustrated for the result.... carroll, ermmm disputable for 35m ... downing worth it for 20m, very creative player ... enrique good lbck , hard to breakthrough

I rate carroll highly. Really.. He's class. I'm not disputing flano or whatever but.. Kelly just seem to have the pace and built up more suited with the current line up.

Depth of squad is not an issue. The issue wasn't about team selection either. Selecting Agger and Enrique for defense was an excellent decision. Having Flanagan over on the right was a good idea. The only not-so-good idea was to have Henderson trotting up and down on the right flank when sunderland would press their advantage on our right where flanagan being young alone would have a really big job to stop 2 Sunderland forwards.

The same people here who condemned our players would have praised the same players when we win. I find such 'rants' by these same forumers baseless and ignorant of our players as well as the team situation currently.

Whether we win or lose, I will wear my colours proud. Support isn't blind faith like turning a blind eye towards mistakes, but there's nothing bad about talking about it with hopes of improving what's on the pitch.

I see more positives and for the first time I wasn't worried seeing any of our players subbed out, with exception of Suarez.
