"because the coefficient of victory" hahahaha.. if no victory, u dun support anymore? loyalty is cheap tongue.gif

"we dont rely on the past like man u.. liverpool.. We make our own history now..am part of history.." what history? get all the money but not winning championship anymore? win any european cup in that period? come on la... trying so hard to make history that is not even happening.

Aiya...there are lots of glory hunting fans out there. I know a few and one of them who switched teams from Liverpool (before 2007) -> Arsenal (2007-2009) -> Chelsea (2010). Now I dunno which team. lol.

It is sure easy for the public to support a popular winning team to minimize the stress of losing/being goaded at. Plus nowdays youngsters really like to just follow the trend of their peers.

We just stick to what we believe in, and show them in the long run we stuck with our team through thick and thin.

For me, dumping your fave club because of the lack of recent trophies is almost equally same as dumping your girlfriend/boyfriend after you find out she/he is not as good looking anymore, no matter how many great things he/she done in the past and how good looking is he/she in the past.

Yes, we may not be looking good with our lack of trophies in the past 3-4 seasons or so, but that won't make me change my mind about my club.

For me, I will always be loyal to my family/close friends and LFC. YNWA smile.gif

BTW, I went alone for the LFC match. Was suppose to go together with a few buddies, but I came earlier and it's not convenient to meetup as I'm from Klang and they from Cheras. My other friends/families was telling me "Not boring meh watching alone?". My reply was "Watching alone? I'm watching and cheering with about 80,000 other bros/sis la. tongue.gif"

My girlfriend who don't watch football (she even hate it before lol) was really stunned by my loyalty, that she promised to accompany me to the match next time LFC comes down to town. See? Loyalty pays. thumbup.gif

He'll end up in RM or Barca one day if they come calling.
NESV already outlined their way of operating, buy young & sell on for profits.

Oh btw, Maddie must be happy since Downing's in the house. Long time din see him in here

You like to hand some backhanded compliment don't you??? You a mancs in disguise under the tiger appearance. All ur posts here seem to slam Reds even though it may not looked like it in surface.
Not that it matters but I find it annoying for someone that like to post backhanded compliment or underlying meanings in others thread for its hypocrite at its best.

Maybe because you guys haven't meet a true female supporter? hahah..
Liverpool Fc is a awesome football club ever, I am sure there's a lot true female supporter.. tongue.gif

I've a friend who used to be a model. She's now married sigh... Thing is she's one of the biggest female Liverpool fans I know. Before she got married, we met over lunch and she was discussing her wedding which was held in Phuket. She asked if I thought it was wise to use the lyrics to YNWA as part of her wedding vows. I told her it was perfect and she actually did it! Husband isn't a football fan so it didn't bother him one bit. She fights him for the TV remote each time Liverpool is playing. Good stuff.

QUOTE(aressandro10 @ Jul 19 2011, 07:14 PM)
i am sorry bro . But i think Liverpool people provoke him first and his response more of inwards than outwards....
Well the video only shows a segment of his antics. I've heard accounts from friends who were there stating he was repeatedly kissing his badge and making a nuisance of himself. Let's take all this as heresay and ignore it for a moment. Thing it you would expect to get some stick for wearing a Man Utd jersey to a Liverpool training session no? You're from Terengganu right? Would the same not happen to a Kelantan fan? The thing is what do you do after receiving some stick? If you choose to commit suicide by goading 'home' fans further, whose fault is it? Just sit down, shut up and people will stop.

He's got it wrong there. Man U are current and they don't talk about their history. He's right that Chelsea have no history and they are now making history but it's like I said. Unless there comes a time when they are no longer at summit of English football, his loyalty will not be tested and thus his pedigree as a fan will always be in doubt.

there was a time when there were more girls supporting LFC cos of morientes tongue.gif

Added on July 20, 2011, 12:02 pmbtw, these our fans are bigger than theirs, more history blah blah is getting boring.
everyone needs heroes, everyone needs a team to look up to.
if LFC are not winning, of cos not many will want to support them.
that's why they all go MU.

it is imho, that there are quite a few ppl who supported LFC in the 90s when they werent winning anything, have a motivating factor that some friend of theirs supported MU so they chose to go the opposite direction...

Chelsea also has somewhat of a history, not like they just suddenly appeared from nowhere.
afterall they did win a FA cup and league cup during the Shankly era tongue.gif

i'm also pretty sure everyonw can name the managers from shankly til now, but how many of us actually know who the manager of LFC was before Shankly? i bet if i asked that question outside, probably 1 out of 20 will be able to answer it...and that's probably being generous.

Well, I'm a lady Liverpool fan for the past 14 years.. smile.gif smile.gif smile.gif A red thru and thru I should say.. Learnt the history, knows every liverpool player & the songs.. Watched nearly all the games no matter it's 3 or 4 in the morning.. When it comes to Liverpool, I can just feel the passion & excitement.. Aaahhh, I just love the club.. smile.gif

But yeah, I guess it's kinda hard to find a true female fan.. Too bad..

Anyway anyhow, Liverpool in my heart.. Forever & always.. YNWA!
