I am missing a tutorial for FIT1029 and lectures and tutorials for MAT1830. I was missing the lectures for FIT1002 and FIT1012 but they magically appeared today

LOL, I'm the type of person who is very lazy to practice math. If I practiced my math, I could get >85% for calculus in pre-u, if I didn't, sure <60%

But I like logic and application, just too bad my chemistry is very bad and I didn't understand physics in pre-u otherwise I might be doing engineering now

I used to like and be good at physics, then something happened in pre-u, maybe bad lecturer or lack of practice or what because physics was my lowest grade in pre-u (74% )

Good to know comp science students are in demand. I like the variety of jobs we can do as a comp science graduate.

It says auto-allocated but the orange block doesn't appear on the timetable and I can't select either of the 3 options available. Same thing for another unit, I forgot comp lab or tutorial. Getting a bit worried here.

For Subang Jaya campus you can get it from the CPU programme office on level 1 of the Wisma Subang Jaya building. My friend from SAM managed to get it from there. Bring a photocopy of your LAN transcript and have them certify it then bring the syllabus, transcript and photocopied SPM cert to the LAN office on level 1 building 2. Monash can certify the SPM cert for you.

So for now I just turn up for the lecture on Monday? It is the only one for Algorithms anyway...

Anyone know when and where is the PTPTN loan briefing? I saw someone mention it in this thread.

FIT1012 elective clashing with MAT1830 lecture (WTF must they have THREE lectures?) so must change elective. PSY1011 clashing with FIT1002 lecture. What the heck am I supposed to take? Hate business... arts only ATS1328 Journalism 1 but I really dislike being in front of a camera

What about ECW 1101? Know anything? I have no choice but to take it as I couldn't take the arts subjects except Journalism 1 (ick!!). PSY1101 Psychology 1A clashed as well and I was looking forward to that subject! Ah well, always next year... I still hope I can take FIT 1012 as I want to do the Flash unit. Maybe during the summer?

Bad experience today. Waited more than half an hour outside for the shuttle bus, got to Pyramid and had lunch around 3.30pm. Then when me and my friend walked to Sunway Hotel at 4.15pm, we saw the bus and ran to it but just so happen the driver was on break and would be back at 5pm. Since I live in PJ and my friend lives in Klang, we didn't want to be caught in the jam and decided to walk via the canopy walk to Sunway U and from there go to Monash. At Monash we still had to walk to the western car park. Ugh, met my walking quota for the week already!

When you come back, got parking meh? I would love to drive everywhere! Just scared no parking so I have to use my two kaki.

I haven't done economics before. Luckily I have a smart friend taking the same subject!

I arrived around 8.15 today and had to park quite far away. Walking to campus isn't a problem but walking back after a long tiring day is horrible. My 8am class vanished when I dropped FIT 1012

Monday was algorithms lecture, great so far. Very interesting way of mixing maths and logic to solve problems and the lecturer is a friendly British guy who got lost

Today was discrete maths. I always found math rather boring by itself and the lecturer is very Asian. Since no tutorial for math today I ended up having to chill for 6 hours before my next class.

Last class of the day was computer programming lecture. I'm so glad I took computer science class in pre-u because Java looks quite similar to what I learnt there so I was able to understand everything and recap a bit. The lecturer though made the class enjoyable. Very quirky.

Added on February 28, 2012, 7:14 pm some Myvi and Kelisa illegally parked and an X-trail had to squeeze through the gap. Pity drivers of big cars. I went to Pyramid and came back around 2pm and got a decent parking lot. The walk isn't too bad but whenever they finish constructing whatever they are doing where the bridge used to be is the day I'll be very happy.
