This is call broken marble. I was looking for this broken marble last weekend, cost about RM 300 / ton, installation is about RM 2 - RM3, and polish for old floor is about RM 2.00 per square feet.
It can shine good after polish.

QUOTE(@Adele @ Aug 2 2011, 11:09 AM) i plan to remove the parque..but it seems after removing it, need to make it smooth and flat again?????? like what? cement back is it? whoa won't that cost more. cement already straightaway put tiles better la if like this. Existing parque does not mean complete straight. If lay above the parque you may face uneven floor (if your current parque is uneven) How about your door clearance?

QUOTE(Skydrop @ Sep 15 2011, 03:59 PM) weikee, how's the result of the polish? good? I called up a few people randomly (contacts from newpaper), and they were telling me about this normal polishing and diamond discs polishing. diamond discs also depending on how many layers, 6, 7, or 8 layers. Any info to share from your experience? Thanks! Yet to do, I am redoing my parking porch area, then only polish the living room. Will post some picture once done.
