yup, just now open up my SF wing to see what's wrong with the rotation mechanism, mana tau it stuck inside, then take it out and spray some WD40 and now it move very smooth rclxms.gif

but WD40 is quite messy because of the pressure it spray out is very high

a not so gentle reminder, WD40 can damage plastic and rubber parts!

seriously, this is why airsoft players don't use it on their gun. <-- a little OT info. it may cause discolouration on plastic and most importantly, it will damage the polycaps parts (loose elastic). lubing wd40 on nerf guns is also not advised as it will damage the "O" rings.

so NO to WD40. if you really need to lube your gunpla, use baby oil or singer oil. these are mineral oils, which are safer on plastics. plus, baby oil smells nicer. laugh.gif u can also use silicone spray, but some silicone spray can cause discolouration on plastic.

but if i apply it when wipe it clean also will be the same thing? the PC label at the runner?

discolouration not really a concern if i only use for inner part where it is not visible
