Quarry was ok to watch cause only 8 episodes. Two parallel plot-lines running the course of the show. The good part is all the killing and murdering orchestrated by the enigmatic Broker. The violence is gnarly beyond HBO standard. Broker is a fascinating character who is behind the scene running a network of colorful contract killers. He's like Littlefinger manipulating the shit out of everyone. The bad is the lead actor PTSD story felt cliche and drag the show down in the beginning and middle. Then episode 8 happens which hits like a truck on why he is so broken. Cinemax being the sister company of HBO, expect plenty of sexy time. Watch the show solely for Broker who really the reason to stick with the show.
Sneaky Pete looks ok as a filler show in between the big guns.

Just the cup of tea I ordered! Dark and violent. It's sorta like "Justify" had a baby with "Banshee". Gonna binge this over the weekend. Respectable score on metacritic and came recommended from my favorite podcast...the slashfilm crew (Ignore Jeff Cannata coz he's the lesser one among the trio.)
I like Sneaky Pete quite a bit once the set-up in place and just ride along for the con job that being staged. Just read it got picked up for 2nd season. Bryan Cranston need to start choosing his roles without repeating himself too much. Here he is predictable and almost gone to mustache twirling villain.
The Crown is pretty bingeworthy for a look behind the scene of UK royalty. Claire Foy is worth all the attention being showered on her and John Lithgow is A-Game in his portrayal of Winston Churchill. The addiction sets in after episode 3 where you just keep on watching the next episode.

I tried watching the first episode, can't find any excitement in it 30min into it. is it better later on?

It became fun when Pete juggling multiple tasks like maintaining his cover, the family not as squeaky clean as they are while Cranston hot on his tail. Then it's alright also if you are not digging the show. I'm perfectly fine with that as well.

Another of those struggling comedian grinding their luck for an opportunity. It's not sitcom ha-ha but a more grounded slice of life kinda situational comedy. Pete Holmes is really that likable and deserve to gain more recognition. Check out his Batman sketch. They are awesome.

The second season of Bedrag is out with official sub. It's a continuation of the first season and not a fresh premise. Pretty neat they expanded the small player to make it a larger narrative stake. Especially the promotion of the new fixer to take over the ominous Sweden fixer. The story and drama hitting the right spot for me. Small plot details from season one resurface to wreck havoc on the main story.

Rick and Morty sneak peek of third season episode one is out. Among all the adult oriented cartoons, they are the best one yet. BoJack Horseman came close.
Finally caught up with the latest Homeland season, as usual you go through few episodes of Carrie's meltdown or melodramatic set-up. Once the set-up is done, it's back to becoming why you love the show in the first place. Dug the use of real world events being mirrored in the show like internet trolling campaign and an unpopular president elect.
I really love Big Little Lies. Binge it in 2 days. Amazing cast and masterful murder mystery. The beginning a little on the nose with Desperate Housewife riff but once you start to see their skeletons in the closet....you are hooked.
Very late in the game of watching this. Flesh and Bone another awesome show that did not get enough exposure. Created by Breaking Bad alum, Sorderberg EP it and they have David Michod to set the tone with episode one. It's Black Swan on the eleven with all the dark drama and plenty of boobies just so you know it's a Starz thing.
