I was thinking to upgrade my next bike to a DJ bike. Trek Remedy is very pricey, any other suggestion bikes?

Get the AMP if you're going for a DJ bike. Super short chainstays, horizontal dropouts for easy SS conversion, ISCG tabs, slack angles... Sweeeeeeetness!

Will check out local LBS for the DJ bikes, prefer to have some travel on rear as well. I'm looking for Oakley goggles, any LBS has them?

many factor affect price point, brand, seller, volumn, marketing and etc. same for any other products.
Merida a taiwanese brand, their factory are also OEM for other bike brand. that should be the primary reason they can offer lower price point.

Ok thanks for the info.
I think i'll go visit these shops and look at the specs to decide.
Is Specialized a good brand that I should consider too? Or just Merida, Scott, and Giant???

Added on August 24, 2011, 10:23 amI also checked that one http://www.ghspeedbikes.com/store/product.php?id_product=51 which is at 2700RM (a bit more expensive). Is it really better than the Merida listed above??? Pls help!! smile.gifsmile.gif

I'm a merida user but if u compare that merida and specialized bike, then i say go for specialized coz it's more worth it.
