2011 Tribe Gathering

The 10th annual Tribe Gathering in Breckenridge is quickly filling up, so if you haven’t signed-up yet, please make it happen!

As the 10th annual event, we have several things lined up to make it yet again, an over the top experience. Several epic rides Friday through Sunday with a shuttled ride on Saturday morning, food provided by local caterers and Honey Stinger to fuel you every mile of your ride, the chance to ride the new SB-66, live music and entertainment Saturday night, exclusive Yeti schwag, beer galore from Colorado Native, and a weekend of hanging out with a couple hundred like-minded freaks in the majestic backcountry of Breckenridge, Colorado.

As always, this is a family friendly event. We have tons of fun following the rides, but it’s pretty tame and everyone has a great time (including the kids).

The shuttled ride on Saturday, Kenosha to Breckenridge, is an amazing ride on pristine Colorado singletrack. The ride takes 3-6 hours in high-altitude conditions, so please make sure you are up for the challenge. If that sounds like too much, there is plenty of great, easily accessible singletrack near our campsite and in the surrounding mountains.

The biggest question we keep hearing is: will you guys have the new SB-66 to ride?
Yes, we will have limited bikes available to ride. So instead of 1,000 rounds of rock, paper, scissors, we are doing a lottery for the SB-66 for Friday, Saturday and Sunday. If you would like to be entered in the lottery, you must have already signed up for the Tribe Gathering and email srawley@yeticycels.com with your size by Monday, July 25 and we will announce the winners via email on Tuesday, July 26. There will be three sets of winners, and sorry you can’t win the bike for two days in a row.

Once you sign up, you will receive a confirmation email and information packet with more details for the weekend including suggestions for accommodations other than camping, a place to board your pooch (this will be a no-dog event as we are camping on private properly where sled dogs reside in the summer), ride preference for Saturday’s big ride, dietary needs and more!

Break-out for what’s included
It’s been a decade since we started the Yeti Tribe Gathering, and each year it’s gotten bigger and better. With that, the price has increased little by little, so in case you all are wondering, this is what it shakes out to:

Yeti Tribe Gathering exclusive ride t-shirt

Yeti Tribe Gathering exclusive pint glass
Meals (Friday - dinner, Saturday – breakfast, dinner, Sunday – breakfast)
Shuttles on Saturday
Beer and Entertainment: lots and lots of it! Colorado Native says it all.
Site (camping, portable toilets, trash)
Refreshments: Honey Stinger, Colorado Native beer, drinks, chips and salsa, snacks

Important: We heavily subsidize the Tribe Gathering, so we ask that all attendees who are riding must be a Yeti owner. Passes must be purchased for anyone over 8 years old.

MENUS FOR THE WEEKEND
Friday dinner: Harvest Catering

Garden Salad
Tossed with Herbed Vinaigrette
Baked Ziti Bolognese
Baked Pantacce Pasta with Grilled Vegetable Alfredo
Amaretto Cookies

Saturday breakfast: Lucha Colorado Cantina

Assorted breakfast burritos with egg, chorizo/bacon/veg, beans, cheese, salsa
Gluten free breakfast tacos with egg, chorizo/bacon/egg, cheese salsa
Orange Juice
Fresh fruit
Local coffee

Saturday dinner: Lucha Colorado Cantina

Chips and salsa with four salsa selections

Sunday breakfast: Harvest Catering

Whole Fruit

Scrambled eggs
Freshly brewed premium coffee, Decaffeinated Coffee & Assorted Hot Tea

The event is filling up fast, and all your friends have their ticket by now, so get to gettin’ and buy your pass to reserve your spot at the 10th Annual Yeti Tribe Gathering.
