IMHO Sony Nex is the best compact camera you can ever get. Due to the sensor.

Also if the sensor is small, the price should be reasonable too.

Now that I see you can use the mount on those cameras, you can do amazing stuff like mounting a 1200mm f/11 lens on that baby.
