seems like the d7000 is a good buy now? currently using a Canon 450D looking for an upgrade. is it a worthy upgrade?

Thanks

if you dont have any lens that same brand,eg lens, speedlite.
walahh, you can jump in..or if you got something item that same brand, just consider choosing eos 60d or 7d

Hey thank you and the others for the reply.
i only have the basic lens kit with the canon, which i plan to do the same with the d7000, except maybe a wide angled lens.
BTW any recommended shops to get it from?

thanks  smile.gif

Is this possible ? Hook external hard disk to d7000 and record video using the external hard disk memory.
*
maybe can or maybe can't
but it's good since 20min video produce by d7k size almost 4gb shakehead.gif

No, what I meant was that you said it was lucky that it fell while the camera was attached with the speedlight, and you said that it suffered less damage because of that... Doesn't matter anyway.. Any other damage apart from your filter?
*
haha,sorry, didn't read ur reply
so far so good, only the lens filter are 'kemik'

i read somewhere that the 28-300, except for the nano coat, has the exact same optics as the gold ring 24-120 f/4.
so its optics isnt exactly that bad.
but if want value for money in a all-in-one zoom lens, go ask ur fren search for a used 28-200...they're around rm800-900.
*
i somewhere fell in love with this lens...
do the times square allow us to testing it? rclxms.gif

Still considering whether should buy D5100 or D7000...
D5100 is much lighter
Btw,is the effects/filters in D5100 like colour sketch can be done using a PC?
*
i dont know..but if me, if you can get d7000, i bet you take d7000.
more function, motorize AF so on so on...pro look...

but d5100 also good. deym light that d7000.
if you hanging d7000 on your neck,it will hurt if hanging for a long time flex.gif

Oh yeah forgot to ask this question, back when I was filming, there was one day when my live view has problems... That time when I was filming a particular scene it was close to twelve(outdoors) and I keep getting a few errors saying "Error: live View could not start" or something like that, had to try a few times before i could turn it on.. Any ideas why is this happening?
*
my guess only because of overheat...since you said that you need to tried several time, it must be overheat

haha...its a bit tricky since you upgrade from d7k to d700

form what i read lah, dunno true or not,d700 win in term of high iso performance while d7k sometimes suffer noise when high iso...
although technology make d7k better that d700(expeed2 ,2memory,blabla)
i prefer d700 that d7k...hahaha...

*ouch,later my d7k merajuk
