QUOTE(nkarul85 @ Jul 31 2011, 03:24 AM) If we stare directly ahead ... we have an angle of view of roughly 46 degrees. During 35mm film format days, the 50mm focal length was the most popular of fixed focal length lenses as it provides a 46 degree angle of view. Full frame or FX format ... same. In APS-C sized sensor cameras, depending on the crop factor, 35mm focal length x crop factor of 1.5 = 52.5mm .... the closest to getting the 46 degree angle of view. |

If you guys are looking for video capabilty, take a look at Nikon P300. It can do several video options ... including 720p or 1080p quality. And also there options for shooting video at 30fps or a whopping 120fps. The playback at 120fps is slow-motion .... hahaha ...

QUOTE(eugene88 @ Aug 10 2011, 06:35 PM) Whats the difference between Nikon or Sigma or Tamron lenses? The difference between Nikon / Sigma / Tamron /Tokina lies not only in the build quality or My-factory-is-bigger-than yours ... whatever. How come Nikon one is so expensive? And if use lens beside Nikon reliable mah? There are huge differences in coating. Get together a few friends with different dslr camera systems. Get the same range of lens from each camp. Eg: 70-200mm f/2.8 And then compare the coating on the front element next to each other. Nikon is not expensive. Nikon 50mm f/1.2 Nikkor AiS Manual Focus Lens costs RM1,825 See this ... http://shashinki.com/shop/leica-50mm-f095-...facturers_id=51 The main difference is in the photos they capture.
