QUOTE(darkavenger @ Sep 13 2011, 11:21 AM) Hi,
I'm not satisfied with D90's AF — it's quite primitive when compared to D7000. I've tried shooting with the latter and the difference is big. Not only in AF but also colors, sharpness and dynamic range. Also, it records in 1080p with AF in video mode ;D
Yup, for video guys like darkavenger, then the 1080p is a good option.. For people that doesn't take video like me then no use also hahaha

During my time using d300s never use the LV myself.. Last Raya ask my fren's brother shoot us then the 1st time use the LV
On my d90 I use it once or twice also..
Rarely find that time where I need to 'lay low on the floor' or shoot high angle.. If I need high angle or low on the ground; then why use my d300s/d90? My Sony a350 have a tilt screen that serves that purposes.. Using LV while it's on the floor, means I have to bend down more (already squatting?) Rite? Thus, the tilt screen comes in handy..
But if I wana shoot fast; will never use LV also. Just point blindly and shoot.mostly because of luck, 90% can get the angle that I want; or I'll just crop during PP later..
Cheers!

QUOTE(celciuz @ Sep 16 2011, 09:21 AM) True Well, turns out the 105 VR is still the more versatile choice, only issue is longer focal length means lesser DOF? And also if handheld easier to handshake but there's VR to compensate. I'm not a macro shooter, I might be wrong though. Somehow using the 105VR I have to dial down to f8/f10 to get a decent DOF.. That's why I rely on the R1C1 to illuminate the subject 40mm should be a good wide + portrait lens for Dx..
