i mentioned before that ur 80-200 should be sharp at 200mm

not only u lah.. my 16-35 also got prob now.. can see the not so sharp edges... old photos taken, all alright.. right now only the prob arise.. haiya.. if send tomorow, can get back before raya tak?

i'll go straight to nikon pj.. should be faster right...

just back from taiping, not a very good experience photographing in the zoo with a 18-55 >< are there any places in malaysia that offer rental for lenses? o.o

btw what zoom lens are nice?  i tried sigma and nikon 18-200mm and sigma 18-200 OS both are nice and sharp...  are there any more nice ones out there? or even cheaper ones? my dad was like wtf when he found out a zoom lens is gonna cost more than my camera. lol

Once you taste the IQ of a prime lens, you will never go back to kit lens. Heck probably only the pro grade zoom lens will satisfy you .

Whoa...  Where is this? I always wanted to shoot a KF.

So is the 50mm 1.8G worth the price to be used on a body which has an autofocus motor in it?
Or the 50mm 1.8D is better in terms of overall performance and price?

Nice shot, but for this case study, the subject was lighted with 10 flash guns aka a flood light... so, yeah, not really a good example

I'm not going to say that even without VR/IS you can't get sharp images at longer focal lengths. I'm just saying that it will definitely be a whole lot harder, when on other other hand, if you DO have VR/IS, you'd be glad you have it.

KFs are difficult as they are small, easily spooked and hard to find especially perched on a clean branch. Looks like it was quite near. KFs are usually shot at 500mm to 800mm if you want to fill the full frame.

80-200mm AF-S, the best piece of glass you can get for sub RM5k. Not easy to hunt for a good copy but worth the effort. Not as heavy as 70-200mm but just as fast as it when focusing. Shouldnt have sold my whole nikon gears years back
