I want a screen protector for my new d7000, google all turn out the GGCS product. Went to a photo shop saw a clear film selling like rm100 !

Have anyone try using car tint film, like 3m , v-kool or the unbreakable tint on lcd screen since ours is not a touch screen. tot of getting it from the shop(leftover) and DIY cutting it to shape.

think it will work?
*
You lost your LCD protector?

Guys, Is it Fx's DOF greater than Dx's DOF if using same lens(Fx)?
*
It has it's Pros and Cons
Aside the hefty price tag on some lens laugh.gif

Other than that... it's gooding thumbup.gif

QUOTE(jchue73 @ Aug 8 2011, 06:50 PM)
It's the other way around. DX bodies have greater DoF than FX.

You can check it for yourself;

http://www.dofmaster.com/dofjs.html

For landscape or macro, it is actually better to use a DX body.
*
The FX Users gets jealous about that and the low price tags on *some* DX Lenses while
the DX users gets jealous about the big guns on FX Stuff

Haha , couldn't stop laughing at that 'dudes' saying

So morale of the story is learn to use the gel packs given by Nikon in the SB800 & SB900s..... does the SB700 have the color correction gels included?? I was testing the SB900 color correction gels at an event recently and found that even with the gels and settings, a lil tweak is still needed to get the WB to look 'right'  rclxub.gif
*
Checked out the Nikon.my website...
The SB-700 does comes with filter set

Welcome to the yellow camp laugh.gif

QUOTE(vearn27 @ Aug 9 2011, 10:31 PM)
Need more practice with this WB thingy. I'm still far from achieving even the near good result of WB settings. I totally have not much understanding in tuning my WB except placing the gel on my flash.

The situation I was in... it started shooting indoor from evening with a lot of windows allowing lights from outside. Then when it reaches night, yellowish and white lights all around the places and some dim area. Ceiling and wall, some area with and some area without to bounce the flash. Really a tough situation to handle with my skill level at the moment sweat.gif

Yumcha surely no problem, need more guidance and tips from the guru biggrin.gif
*
As what i know off , need to know based on your surroundings...
especially indoors , whether the walls are light or dark painted...

sigma and tamron does their own R&D. they have their own optical formulas as well, but since R&D fees are limited to them, their formulas are not as refined, but still get jobs done.

being 3rd party lenses, they cant put their pricing higher than original makers as then there will be no sales for them.

furthermore, nikon's own nano coating technology is very very expensive, as the same goes with Zeiss'.

Well , they do say , you get what you pay for....

QUOTE(ikki9394 @ Aug 11 2011, 06:35 AM)
Think I'll still prefer 7000D. As for lens, i wanted a all-rounder and more into zoom as I prefer not to keep changing my lens.
I've been looking at either

18-105mm VR so much cheaper...
or
18-200mm VRII but this is so exp... Does the price worth the lens?

Meantime if I've got spare cash I might get a 50mm f/2.8 for indoor low light shots

Other sifus plss give me some advise as well thx!
*
7000D ?
When did Canon brought out this? sweat.gif

IMO , I have 18-105 , serves me good , but not good enough when your taking shots of around >50m+
Depend on what you wanna shoot , if you wanna get a large aperture lens for your indoor , go with a 50mm or a 35mm.
I mostly do outside photography , so a 18-200 would be a great investment for me.

Last week just bought another set, body only at RM2950 and with kit lens if I'm not mistaken is somewhere around RM3800? Didn't really ask the price of set with the kit lens though because already made up mind to get body only.
Used unit ah? biggrin.gif
