No worries bro.. on the table should be just fine. From the looks of your table, it's rather slim. One wrong move could send your ink tanks crashing.
From your unconventional setup, the ink tubes seems to be droping to the inside base of the printer. Please be careful. Do refer Post #1 for some ideas on the traditional and ideal setup.
Just put it the tanks back to back with the printer. For simple soultion, use el-cheepo 1/2 inch wide tape to secure it vertically across. It's just a safety precaution based on your pictures.
If you have the time, the waste ink bottle installtion for the C67 is super easy! give it a try for a long term solution.
