i'll do the calc based on data provided by ezciss and mezerwi:
1 cartridge = 10ml of ink.
400ml of ink = 40 catridges = 10 SETS of catridges (1 set 4 colours)
1 SET OF CARTRIDGE = 4 catridges can print 30 4R size photos.
hence, 400ml of ink a.k.a. 1 set of CISS can print:
10 x 30 = 300 4R size photos.

Thanks Bro for the practical calculations. Personally I rather not go with how many prints it can go as it depends highly on many factors.
1. Total area of coverage
2. Paper Size
3. Paper Type
4. Colour preference
5. Combo of Text, Graphics & Photo Prints
6. Maintenance
7. External Factors
For example taken from EPSON Official Source for C67 Model
http://www.epson.com.my/products/downloads/C67_Spec.pdfQUOTE
Standard Capacity Black Ink (T0631) Approx. 250 pages*4
Cyan Ink Cartridge (T0632)
Magenta Ink Cartridge (T0633) Approx. 380 pages*5 (Composite Yield)
Yellow Ink Cartridge (T0634)
I can only say the set is provided with 100ml per colour. Printing Mileage will vary from user to user as their printing preferences differ.
With all factors remaining constant, it's the price per ml of ink that shows the savings compared with Original/OEM carts! (still ignoring the savings on ink as the system does not clean the printhead anymore)

Cheers!
P.S - Hows your printing 4000 lables project?
