Does the new model Epson R230 use the same ink as the R210? I am seriously considering the R230 since the R210 has just become obsolete.

Also, I was told by one guy in the shop in LYP that the Epson photoprinter heads spoil easily by compatible inks. Any comments?

Refills can be ordered on success of next bulk.. 100ml bottles per colour. If not you can get it from any reliable local store.. Price wise.. you know lah!

R210 and R230 original cartridges use DYE ink. BUT they use different cartridge models (the chips on the cartridge are different)

This has been a long debate, I can only comment that I have no issues to date since using the system before V1 bulk.

Generally, as I know, Epson printheads are more realiable then others. It all depends also on the quality of the compatible inks.. not all brands are the same. Most problems I know of occure with the 2 common brands out there.. PM me for the names

Original R230 cartridges can set you back RM120 easily, so you just have to decide on what you need
