QUOTE(D3vilsim @ Oct 10 2011, 03:38 PM) CBU models of Passat, Cross Touran and Jetta. Price not confirm yet. only know Jetta is around Rm140. Are you sure? If am not mistaken, it's the New Tiguan ( same like Toureg but smaller), Amarok, and Passat/Jetta. The first pic is the Tiguan, secon is Amarok head light and lastly is the Passat/Jetta (am not sure)

Hi, i wanna ask this ridiculous question.
If the Passat and Jetta is being CKD, the cars wont come with DSG and TSI, is this true?
and next weekend launch will come with full CBU with TSI engine. AS far as we know the polo sedan is a NA 1.6 engine. Probably 4 conventional gears.
Anyone can clarify?

i was told that cars CKD in malaysia cannot be less than 1.6L , so if like that Jetta maybe come with a 1.6L engine when ckd, Passat remains as it is 1.8.
Like that then when CKD Jetta then we are just buying another fake german car. And if CKD priced at 145K without DSG and TSI. then i think it is bloody expensive.

Hi Roc owners,
need some feedback.
when you do your tinting, did you add on the 7inch black strip (sticker) at the top of the front windscreen?
Would it make the viewing difficult/narrow? eg. when you are at the traffic lights, difficult to see the traffic light if you are the 1st car.
When I did the tinting last month, I asked the vendor not to install 1st as I think this might reduce the viewable line of sight as the roc windscreen height is already short... Need to bend down a bit to see the red/green traffic light at the road junction. I tried with the 2 shade down.
But after driving in the hot afternoon sun, I feel that it is too bright and want to reduce incoming sunlight.
so...what's your take?
