I'm still in dilemma till now. Already booked my golf gti in carbon steel grey colour but the sa told me i can still change the colour if i want to because the car will only arrive on march/april next year. Originally i wanted the red colour till i went to the showroom to book the car, my parents said they didn't like red colour it looks cheap. Even my grandpa n my gf didn't like red too all of them prefer carbon steel grey so i ended up booking that colour. I think its quite nice too but i still like red better. But what to do my dad said i can book the car but with one condition, NO RED. Haih. White is nice too but too many people r already using white its already too common n both of my cousins r already driving white golf gti too so i don't want to buy the same colour again. Then, my uncle who's the father of my cousins that are driving the 2 white golf gtis told me red is nicer n asked me to buy red, even he already booked one more scirocco red colour for my other cousin. He said red look sportier n is more suitable for me since i'm just 23 he said carbon steel grey is for older people, which i think is quite true too. So now i dont know which colour should i actually choose. Whether red or carbon steel grey, or black which i think is nice too. What do u guys think? Which colour is better? Because u guys have more experience seeing golf gti in those colours in person

Its looks awesome especially under the sun and the red color stripe on the grille really stands out. It is also the only color available for GTI. It is easier to maintain comparing to Candy White where dust/dirt can be seen.

No offence to those with Red/White ya. Anyway, colour is a personal thing, your choice, just dun regret it later. This post has been edited by SeraphimGecko: Oct 9 2011, 09:59 PM

I wanted Carbon Steel Grey too, specifically asked the SA for it. Unfortunately TSI doesn't come in that color.
2nd choice was Tornado Red, so went for that instead. Shadow Blue also quite nice arr... rare too.
