practicality wise, i felt the 1.4 was nicely done, ample power, suspension not too stiff tongue.gif

but i do find the turbo lag a bit uncomfortable... forgot how the GTI felt like since it was 2 years ago but it was different from the CC... the CC have this sudden burst of acceleration sweat.gif
maybe different tuning cos the CC have 3 modes, not sure about the GTI... the SA told me that the 3 mode button can even change the suspension setup, serious or not...
anyway, didn't have chance to test till that extent cos ferrying family members behind tongue.gif

Continental car is like that ...not like japanese's turbo (fast response).
CC, GTI and Rocco also got 3 mode button as u mention which is Adaptive chassis control DCC
which allowed you to switch between confort, sports and normal smile.gif

sounds like more ppl are poison-ed in getting the golf biggrin.gif

one thing i just noticed as it's my 1st time seating at the back yesterday, the backseat are too straight up. I really feel uncomfortable sitting at the back. Cannot imagine sitting in the back for a road trip wink.gif

The S3 bush is to make the car not too bouncy especially after you take a hard corner. Good upgrade for TSI's. Not that expensive.

New car still waiting at the dealer because my buyer side having some issues and then now the long break so the banks are taking a little longer to get back to him .

Currently at the Wearnes Service Center in Sg. Besi, saw the aluminium pedals there at RM900+ and the stainless steel exhaust tips at RM700+.

Got new member in the family recently (which I didn't know was coming when I bot the car!! )
So thinking of getting an MPV or SUV instead. But hard to let go, cos every drive put it in S, press the pedal and smile.

Just one addition to the family doesn't actually need u to change from a GTi to a MPV. Just ask yourself, how often do u need a 7 seater? When there ever comes a need, just go out in 2 cars lor... Wait till u get 4-5 kids..... then u consider lah.

Yeah there are some issues with VW cars, a few of our fellow forumers here have also found those issues with their cars.
