It is cross-fired with Radeon 6470. It will become 6540G2. If you study the actual performance, you'll find that the cross-fire is virtually not working. Check on the catalyst, on the Power section, should have the control for CPU speed...

Installing the 11.8 shouldn't give you missing driver..
You can just install it on top of your existing driver. No need to uninstall it. |

Added on September 4, 2011, 11:49 pmoh my..i forgot to copy the catalyst 11.8 from the idm directiory. all files that ive downloaded today were sweep by sys restore...but it ok..i can download it next time....thanks again sifus... Indeed.. for laptop that cost just over $550, that is a good score.
If only them geniuses at AMD didn't discard Asymmetric Crossfire support for DirectX 9 it would be perfect. Also the incomplete/buggy driver kinda ruin it too. |
