nothing really...i was frustrated and blasted away....

The funny thing is when I push over 1800mhz, some dimms will be missing resulting to a lesser amount of memory....hmmmm hmm.gif

anyone pernah kena before??? like the example above, I have 4 sticks but only 1 runs and the other just being detected by CPU-z... doh.gif

And from the screenshot, I think only 1 micron stick works....the other micron and both Vengeance like doesn't exist, but are detected huh.gif

Yes, step by step. Now pushing CPU-NB to 2600. Higher than that sure BSOD
*
just put 1.4v then raise till BSOD.... thumbup.gif

make sure u check the temp variance when stock cpu-nb volts vs 1.4v biggrin.gif

cpu nb for that cpu just put 1.3 is enough for 3000mhz i think...
bulldozer now... dun even think about 3000mhz.. hehe

BD 3000mhz kacang or is it very hard like Deneb??? hmm.gif

Finally pushed NB to 2800mhz, try to push higher  rclxm9.gif

nice....push push....3000 is hard but not impossible...if you can handle the temp brows.gif

O.o i didnt know abt that  hmm.gif

ony tried to push till 2600, never exceeded that..

HT and NB is linked..

NB is at the chipset i thk hmm.gif

but im sure CPU NB is in CPU.. both are different..
CPU NB controls base clock n CPU NB clock if not mistaken  hmm.gif
*
back when i was on 790FX-GD70 I tried to stabilize 3000mhz but never got to do so....but 2800 can stable...only voltage a bit high....

HT no need to raise more than 2100mhz so i just leave it there....

CPU-NB is the memory controller...so by raising the speed up, you will see improvements over default 2000mhz

k now still tweaking...

Added on March 15, 2012, 11:40 pmvery the hot! need WC yo..

seriously crazy.. play with the cpu-nb can sky high the temp...
how am i need to push 4ghz cpu... go go go..

Added on March 15, 2012, 11:51 pm

NB freq need to sync with ram 3 times.. reduce NB will hold the ram speed..

e.g.: 1600 (800) ram with 2400 nb
so 2000 (1000) ram with 3000 nb
*
Surely best to have felt 3000mhz with 1000mhz ram speed....me have 1033 ram but only running 800mhz coz cpu is still the old Phenom 2 X4 sad.gif

TRUE also hard to keep the temps down during SPI or benchs if use voltage above 1.5v... will alwayz be above 60c.... sweat.gif sweat.gif

Ya agree with you antonio sir. but i do believe with a good voltage you can run at 4Ghz stable. most of thuban able to do it.
*
thuban can...deneb too hot sad.gif

me on deneb now so power saving mode on... tongue.gif tried 4.0ghz before for 24/7 but it was just too much for air cooling....
