actualy. the circular cursor have a purposes. You guys notice when you swipe you could see the center white portion moved to indicate where are you swiping? Also when you pinch zoom on the touch pad, it creat 2 white circle for you to notice your pinch distance. So overall, I kinda like the idea. The cursor will disapear when you type anyway. So not a distraction at all.
anyone notice your video cant plat out of suddent? it wont list dont the list of player even. The fix this, I found out rebooting it will. But another wierd encounter is, just eject the micro SD card and re-insert. It will work. After that, it wont happen again. DOnt know why after the 3.2 update it happen. Also, the KBD turn off KB wake up feature still didnt work for me. But, I dont really have battery drain issue. Further morem, if I have this feature, I'll still turn it off anyway. So.. basically is not really an issue for me at this moment. Notice quiet a number of people actually face this problem after you flash to the latest or even previuos feature. |

QUOTE(CyberKewl @ Aug 3 2011, 10:23 AM) yes, happens to mine as well but wait about 5 seconds and pressing the touch pad wont turn it on. dont worry, there wont be a drain. at least on mine it didnt drain a single % for 7 hours while i was asleep in bed... Your KBD remain unchain after 7 hours but did it drain your tablet bat instead? |

QUOTE(CyberKewl @ Aug 3 2011, 10:43 AM) my tablet was connected to the keyboard, didnt notice any drain on both ends..will do the test again tonight if i remember that is..haha Wow, if the bat can last like that, I may plan to return my dock for a new one. But then, it may not make sense. During sleep mode or idle, there should be some bat drain right? It should come from somewhere.... or maybe it turn off everything?Added on August 3, 2011, 10:44 am i'm on the latest 3.2 update, no yellow tint display like yours..suggest you send it and exchange again if possible. I'm doing a test now and see what happen. I'm draining my dock bat to the lowest. And see if the feature works or not after that. |

QUOTE(CyberKewl @ Aug 3 2011, 10:48 AM) maybe got drain from tablet instead of dock, i didnt notice, so will try to test again and report the findings after retest Thanks Bro. Let us know your finding. I'm not sure if I want to return my doc or not. Honestly...1.5% drain per hour is kinda like ok for me with wifi on etc. |

QUOTE(garyngkt @ Aug 3 2011, 11:01 AM) I find that things are more responsive on 3.2 now, except for the new round cursor which needs some getting used to Agree. 3.2 is really smoother. But Gameloft games still cant work. Oh weel..Guys, https://market.android.com/details?id=com.iUnity.angryBots Try this game. Not bad for a demo. Nice graphic too. |

QUOTE(-Panadol- @ Aug 3 2011, 09:05 PM) After updating, when I click certain files in the file manager e.g .log, .mkv, etc, there is no longer a pop up menu asking me to select an app to open that particular file. Yes it happened to me too. Try reinsert your micro sd card.Anyone experience this? Is this normal? |

called Asus Malaysia about the doc. Asked me to send to Penang center at e-gate. I called e-gate center, they dont have any idea what I'm talking about. As matter a fact, nobody send anything back to this center since 1st day.
So, I dont see any big drain issue with my dock. Just that, I cant turn on this feature. So maybe I just wait until I dont know when. Anyone send the dock for repair already? |

QUOTE(-Panadol- @ Aug 4 2011, 01:51 PM) I think it's the same with or without kb, it happens to files in both my internal memory and external sdcard. it happen to me too, after a few reboot and reinsert the micro SD card, everything ok now.I've tried removing and re-inserting the sdcard, but same issue. When I click on a "non-supported" file, the file manager screen just darkens abit and hangs there without doing anything. You managed to get the pop up window askingyou to choose an app to open the file? I read in XDA forum somewhere, someone mention that there will be another update soon to fix the 3.2 bugs... that person mention that the info is from asus, but I cant remember which country.... |

Selectable cursor type option added (arrow or circle). Mouse cursor trackpad movement reversed. QUOTE(AlphaGT @ Aug 24 2011, 02:38 PM) Hey guys, I've been reading for a while now and I just wanted to ask something regarding the dock battery drain issue. Thats why I read in the XDA forum. some claim that the dock battery saving feature mode and the battery drain are 2 different issues. As far as I understand it, the dock is a defective unit if when you enable "dock battery saving mode" and if you press any button it will still wake up from sleep mode right? To note, I don't have that problem so I'm assuming I don't have a defective unit. So the question is, is a 20 percent drop in battery over 7 hours acceptable? Tablet was asleep the whole time. I was asleep the whole time. Wi-fi and Bluetooth off the whole time. In my case, it failed the feature test, but my dock only drain 1.4% per hour with table stays at 100% with Wifi on. So I dont plan to send my dock back for repair unless it drainned really badly. |

I thought the issue is when it is dock. I'm still trying to understand how bad is bad actually. Some reported more than 10% per hour. That is bad. My case is about 1.5% per hour.

QUOTE(jimmylim85 @ Aug 28 2011, 07:44 PM) Funny thing is that MOV file extract from iPhone 4 720p video record is choppy on mobo and mx player but works flawless on dice player. Have you tested Vplayer? Not sure if it works for you. Is choppy on 1080p but works OK on some 720p. the reason I use it because'it'play many format and I like the easy user interface, simple and easy.I need my TF101 on Presentation which require video clips. Sadly Mobo and MX not really on icing on the cake. This post has been edited by tracktion3: Aug 28 2011, 08:00 PM |
