I got this laptop for RM 4288 + 512RAM + Backpack + notebook lock + voucher. I bought it from my notebook shop. Anything?

Wanna ask you all.. I just found a weird pixel "like a dot" on my screen while i was watching drama. Even i shutted it down oso can notice it.. it's like a dust stuck inside.. or is it dead pixel?

only 1 dead pixel can claim? my fren's toshiba got also but yet he c annot claim due to the warranty policy. Must have at least 3 pixels then only he's able to claim.. So what should I do now?

I only notice this today.. Last time when I got my laptop I did a check but then din notice about that.. How does a dead pixel occur?

the lcd problem lor.. posted here b4.. and then found a light leakage.. one small part seem brighter then other parts.. sigh.. gonna send it to notebookshop to c how ..

Do I need to pay for service charges or wat ever charges if i ask for help from notebookshop? and what's d difference if I go to service centre or HQ in TTDI? Not sure where's it located in TTDI.. anyway, i bought my notebook from them..

Thanks george. I went there just now. Service not bad. But too bad they said my lcd is a physical damage. So no warranty claimed. But i wonder how i got tat physical damage..

Not combo drive spoilt... It's just cannot eject disc some of the time.. So just service together la.. they called me today saying that the part have to order from overseas.. This thu i wil be back to my hometown for 1 month.. So he asked me to contact him when i'm back for the combo drive..

Stil can use. It's not too noticeable. They told me it was a physical damage.. cannot claim. But the other problem is a part which is brighter. That one need to send in for diagnosis few days i think. So stil thinking whether I wan to send in after my hol o not.. Scare like situation that our forumer face after sent in, the laptop become worse.

Just now part of the "Designed for Microsoft Windows XP" logo sticker just teared off lerr.. It's just like a thin layer. How to remove that sticker? seems like it's stick hard. Anyone got sell that sticker?

Not really problematic la.. D LCD might be caused by myself. The combo drive doesn't have any problem recently. Thank God. And the careless thingy caused by myself had made my sticker teared off.. Any idea where can replace d sticker?

So Lipyeung, just go ahead with IBM. No worries. I still use my lappy everyday w/o any problem since d LCD thingy not really noticeable.

I can do gaming on my IBM w/o any prob. C&C General, Warcraft, NFS U2, and other game. No prob. Now I decided to play less game. Dun wanna use my lappy too much dy.. Need to concentrate on studies and making notes using laptop only..

Sure I know.. More solid.. But ugly like wat my fren said.. though i personally do not feel so.. I feel classic style for such casing.. haha

As long as they dun loosen the quality control. I don't think the quality goes down. But for Acer and other brands dunno lor..
