Download app call zdbox, there will be option to show you what apps can be moved to external and what apps must remain in phone

Normally you can use app call 'app 2 sd' but i recommend zdbox since it comes with other tools which you will find handly like measure data, cleaning, move app 2 sd, etc. Just try it out. if you don't like it, you can always use other apps which perform the samething

I used titanium to remove the weather widget and replace with sense widget

Answer to question 1 :I've rooted my phone.

Q2. If you have problem cannot get your phone's signal back, try this

1.Switch on Airplane mode. Wait for a while then switch off airplane mode. Then go to mobile network, select your network type selection as both 3G/2G and network operator as automatically

P/S : if you do use data alot, leave it always on 3G, but it will drain your battery. If you don;t just select 2G only then your battery will last. Currently network signal keep switching off and cannot recover is one of the known issue. Some manage to flash newbaseband to fix it, so just keep one type either 3G only or 2G only to prevent it from keep switching and cause your signal to drop (a reboot recover it)

I'm now on MIUI ICS 2.11.26. Playing around the rom for few days already. Still buggy but usable. Its more responsive and battery friendly.

Using 2G / GSM only help on battery but still can use with 2G data depends on which telco In my case, i got 2 phone, 1 on maxis and the other one on umobile. I put umobile on the 2X with 2G only but enable data a are still able to receive whatsapps, gmail, etc.

Those apps don't need high speed, just data and its good enough for me. Maxis one is my backup since umobile is good when you're in area where signal for umobile is strong, but if you're in place where no umobile service, it will roam to celcom. So when im in those area and no signal, the umobile will forward call to the maxis

Depends on your 'term' of stable

1. Signal - there is a bug where every time you reboot your phone, you need to set automatically search to get back network. Other than that its more stable compare to stock when you're already connected. I find have less issue of line drop in here compared to stock

2. Continues usage without boot for 3 days sometime start of have 'FC' case, after reboot, its ok

3. No haptic key - still bug, got solution but it comes back after reboot

4. Operation wise, no problem smooth, tethering stock is broken, use app from market for wireless tether works

5. Battery & smoothness yup its there

6. Others havent test yet (like BT,HDMI)

7. Video, yup 720p is accelerated, browser and few other already h/w accelerated, not complete but what to expect its still Work-In-Progress porting

8. Call quality is good, im on baseband 725 v20L and its clearer then prior baseband

9. GPS works great, 1-2 sec locking (stock around 5 sec) - must fix with fasterfix for ntp + gpsfix for locking (accuracy around 30m, still trying to get it better, on ZTE blade i get 5m accuracy and 1 sec lock, check out the spec of zte blade, no where near 2x but amazing response and accuracy for GPS)

Hmm, now waiting for another release from them, otherwise i may flash nightly to use 1st since don't have the network bug where everytime reboot need to set network to automatically search

Its not completed, like i say, its Work-In-Progress, not complete, some only but atleast things such as browser got h/w acceleration, other is still W-I-P, this version just release like not long and still in beta. So dont put too high hope. ( If you notice, nvidia is not releasing driver for their tegra 2 right?, so their work is based on whatever is release out now.

I wish they have complete drivers release from nvidia, then i won;t be just looking at 720, i will be looking @ 1080p

The battery calibration will kick in straight away once flashing this rom, therefore you will find that the battery drains quicker than before. Please allow it to drain to around 5% before recharging fully back to 100% for the perfect calibration.
Updater may FC on first boot, don’t worry about it, as it will work correctly once this occurs.
Phone call recording (This is something that we won’t support due to legal issues within the UK, please don’t expect it).

Some apps can be move from phone to sd, this apps allow you to see which are ok to be moved, if you forcefully moved them into sd, you can see shortcut but cant execute the app.

Bro, in your phone do you have superuser installed? if yes, can you try uninstall it, then download busybox again? then only try superoneclick with debug mode on

I face this problem before because i was using MIUI with custom busybox but the superuser screw up and so with the busy box (i tried wipe the rom, and it came back and screw up again when i update the busybox)

P/S: worst case of scenario, wipe rom

Oh ya, superoneclick cannot work if no access to adb

Yeah bro, i know, which is why we need LG to get their side to do up ICS with h/w acceleration (this means they need to work with nvidia guys to get the drivers as Nvidia guys work only with manufacturer who they provide their chips to, they will need to provide drivers which they custom for their chipset to makers, and they will not provide to others. Developers has been asking since early release but their request has been ignored, reason? its their intelectual property & they only provide drivers to the maker who they sell their chip to...in this case LG right?

Samsung's maker so far has been providing good stuff as they have good team and they manage to get whatever they need from nvidia, as result you can see their phone/table works quite well even for stock (we are not talking about those been custom / tweak yet).

Well the hope is ICS is properly done up with h/w accelerator, then no problem already bcos the modder will take over and tune it up properly. all they need is access to ics with h/w driver enable then settled

If you flash with that, try not to wipe data,cache or dalvik's cache, then your data wont be lost, just setting. Warning, you may have fc if you install like that, so recommended if you face problem, reset those mention earlier

Set your phone wallpaper to black and see if you notice any bleeding, if yes, you can walk-into LG center can show them (make sure you're under warranty, feedback from forummers are some have this issue - normally earlier batch and the sent in, as for local batch haven't hear anything or maybe they just sent in without feedback)

Bro, open "Setting" -> About Phone --> Battery, and tell us what is there, can't tell without see what is taking most of your battery juice

P/S : did you calibrate your battery? recommended to do so after change rom. eer your avatar....hmm...arr...dunno what to say

Bro, I'm not sure how is your contact is being used (from sim / google contact), as for me, i've uploaded all my contact to google (so when i add one new contact, i can access it from any android device i have, just add 1 dummy contact and see if you contact is updated - see the contact under gmail from website)

SMS - download any sms backup app from market, this will export all your sms into xml format and later after you wipe your rom, install back the same app and restore the file (its saved with name which derived from date your do your backup)

Apps - use titanium, this settle everything from app,data or both

P/S: which MIUI are your using? i'm using the one from galnet so i've tested the items mention above, not sure it helps you or not

Try this, download the apk from pc and copy into your sdcard and open the apk from your 2X (this is alternative way to install apps into phone without market)
