i just start play monster hunter today. but it is monster hunter freedom unite version.i have 1 noob question, is mhfu save file transferable to monster hunter portable 3rd?

erm... abit confused here. what do you guys mean by "play online using lan"? i thought LAN is local network and online is WAN?

so, what version did u guys play online using x-kai now? want to join also =P

Meaning to play online with MH on PS3 alone , u need to use a lan cable from router to ps3 , thats it rite ?
With no psp involved?

But now since theres so many freezes in the online gameplay , hmmmm.... im thinking again lol

by the way, hi guys, i am boon. MH series fan all the way from ps2 era. used to play sword and board+gs in the first few MH series. Later changed to mainly gs, then learnt bow at MHP2.

retired from psp monster hunting because my eyes cant stand the small screen.

now coming back because have ps3 version finally. lol. havent bought the game yet, but will soon as soon as shop available/cd available.

just bought the ps3 unit, havent registered psn id yet (registration site has been down since last week). will see u guys in game soon i guess.

Then wads the use of other rooms in a LOBBY ar ?

Anyway tested the game with bluetooth with random ppl online ... works great cos they replied me over their text message lol

Would like to say thank you to Andrew for showing up for the gathering. I was very impressed that he soloed all the elder dragons because frankly they frighten me to hell. He helped me run the akantor quest a couple of times and we spent the rest if the time talking rubbish and nostalgia =D looking forward to next week.

can i buy/download this ps3 version through japanese psn?
